OK SO, my thoughts on the games delayments.....

I figure the AVP3 will be a "FUNDING GAME" possibly a cheap make or slightly better make of the avp2 or it may be a very good game however still to its main purpose to fund or make money.
(I liked avp1&2 the games allthough some of the designs I didn't)(I didn't like the movies)
Then they sell the crap out of it to work on the pieste resistance, ALIENS COLONIAL MARINES this games hype has been around for years. Allthough this has been cruel on all of us to delay it. We all have very high expectations for this game, therefore if they believe they must meet these expectations by applying more funding and or time on the game I AM ALL FOR IT.

Just my theory, feel free to criticise.

i just dont get why they are doing this...Aliens CM is about the Marines, AvP 1 and 2 had aliens, marines, and predators. I just dont see the logic in making another game that has marines. just stick to aliens cm and make it incredible. ovbiously gearbox had trouble making it awsome.

I agree that AvP3 is certainly about making money, but I feel it's more likely a matter of them seeing the opportunity to cash in on the franchise than to gather development funding for Colonial Marines.

You can,t hire some people to make a game and then :1st- to cancel it/2nd: to give the project to others, and don,t get me wrong..., I don,t give a crap about GB, but this sounds to me like..., betrayal?, and what about Obsidian?, you see what happened there?. There must be something wrong with Sega at this point.

No one understands what,s going on with Sega and why the alien series have always to be the cursed one of all times, but I,m sure It,s not only the economic crisis the reason behind this ridicolous situation we,ve eventually reached.

Couldn't agre more Jay!!! It makes no sense and is a bad move on their part. They are FV<King us over for a God damn percentage... Screw pred fans im sorry, actually im not. We want Aliens:Colonial Marines and you promised you even dangled a nice aritcle with eye candy screen shots in Game Informer so you have invested already so much into this game. So just release it and focus all your efforts on the FPS of a Aliens fans lifetime. No one cares about AVPiece of crap... Don't go back on your word its bad for businness... And if the Yakuza of Japan took over SEGA you would be missing more than fingers SEGA of America!!! So hold your tounge for now and don't say nothing its better that way. Then you can sleep at night. But if you crap out AVP3 and not Aliens:Colonial Marines than bad Karma shall come to you. "Lets Rock!!!" And make this milestone in the Aliens universe come to life.
