VOLUME ONE: THE BEGINNING
Prologue- Black Reawakening
-April 20, Stormwing Island
The skies were black. The clouds were screaming thunder. And in the middle, was Metal Sonic. Reset by Eggman to serve him dutifully and without doubt of betrayal. He was sent on a mission by Eggman to find a new base where no one will disturb him. That way, he can devise the perfect robot to dominate the cities! Eggman has found that perfect island: Stormwing Island. He sent Metal Sonic to eradicate any living organisms on the island. *BOOM BOOM* The clouds were blaring. Strikes of thunder roamed around the island. Suddenly, one lightning strike hit Metal Sonic, right in his cerebral cortex. "Ahh!" He crashed. He fell headfirst. He was deactivated.
Abruptly, Metal Sonic woke up. "Ugh...Where am I? Why am I here?" He asks. All at once, everything flashed into his mind: The mission, his defeat at the hands of Sonic and co., every little thing. He laughed. He was reawakened at last; Truly, it would be his time of dominion.

Chapter One-A: Relax and Roll!
-April 22, Station Square
"Ahhh...It's been really nice since Eggman stopped terrorizing cities." I said. That's me, Sonic the Hedgehog! I just looove running! After Eggman's recent plan with Dark Gaia failed, apparently, he took a break.
"That's right, Sonic! Now we can work on an even better type of Tornado! I wanna call the new one.....Tornado III!" Tails said. Man, is he just a determined mechanic!
"Sorry, Tails. I wanna spend this time to relax!" I replied. Maaaaan, I haven't gotten a break in a while.
Tails sighed. "Fine....But what happens if Eggman strikes?! We won't be prepared! Sorry, Sonic. I need to make the Tornado III and fast!"
"Alright then, Tails. But don't work too hard alright?" I patted Tails on the back.
"Alright, Sonic. See ya later!" And then Tails rushed back to his workshop in Mystic Ruins. I, on the other hand, got to the beach in Station Square. And I got some R & R around Station Square. And this went on for a few days, until.....I saw it. Metal Sonic and some other bots were flying past Station Square!
"Alright! Time to party!"
Chapter 1-B: Silhouette
-April 21, Westopolis
There I was, resting on a tree in Westopolis. While I was helping the citizens in Central City, Westopolis, etc., regain their composure from the cracked Earth, apparently Sonic was out to get the earth back to it's normal shape. I had seen the Tornado, and knew there wasn't any reason to worry.
These past few days have been one thing after another, with helping Rouge hunt for precious gems, and Omega to find Eggman. We haven't found him yet, but still. This is the only time I can get some rest......"Shadow?" Someone whispered to me, in my dreams. It was a vibrant silhouette of a girl. She seemed......so familiar.
"Shadow, the ARK and Eclipse cannon was damaged by an asteroid after you destroyed the black comet." she said.
"I know. It was all over the news." I replied.
"Someone's trying to rebuild it. Both the ARK and the Eclipse Cannon, which would give them total domination over the world!" She said. "You need to stop him, Shadow."
"Why?" I inquired.
"Think of it as a request from an old friend." She responded. Then a bright light shot forth, and I shielded my eyes.
"Shadow, are you okay?" Rouge asked. I was awake. Was that really just a dream?
"SHADOW, ARE YOU OKAY?" Omega shouted loudly. It hurt my ears.
"Ugh. Yeah, I'm fine." I replied. My ears were ringing, but I was wide awake. "Let's go."
"Where are we going?" Rouge inquired.
"Somewhere." I answered.
"And who told you to do this?" Rouge inquired.
"A friend."
Chapter 1-C: Plans
-April 20- 21, Stormwing Island
"At last, I've awoken from my deep slumber!" I, Metal Sonic, yelled in magnificence. "Yet, my head still hurts. It seems that the shock to my cerebral cortex will slowly heal itself. I have limited time. According to my readings, I have thirty days."
I looked out over the horizon. This WOULD be a good place for a base, but first things first.........
Transition: 1 hour later
"Hmph. That took longer than I expected." I said angrily. "That lightning strike really fried my circuits. If I'm only gonna rule the Earth for thirty days, I need to be stronger. And when I do rule the Earth, I need a kingdom. I need a successor. I a plan."
Transition: 5 hours later
*CLANK CLANK* "Finally, it's done. Longer than I thought, but fast enough. I have made servants. Copies of that blasted Hedgehog's friends. Metal Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, and more! I've made an squadron! A squadron with the power to obliterate all!" I laughed maniacally. "Now, time to activate them..................."
Sub Chapter: Eggman
-April 20, Base
"Aarrgh! Where is that Metal Sonic! I didn't make him to be a slowpoke!" I yelled. "Dr. Robotnik should not be kept waiting!"
"Master, are you okay?" Asked a robot of mine. "Do you need another cheeseburger?"
"YES, I DO!" I yelled. He started shaking in fear.
"B-b-but I thought you were on a diet........." He replied.
"Are YOU my mother? Are YOU ordering me to do things?" I started yelling angrily.
"NO, SIR! I WILL GET THAT CHEESEBURGER FOR YOU SIR!" And with that the robot dashed away in a panic.
"Dumb robots."
-Moral: Getting impatient and evil= fat
Sub Chapter: Amy
-April 22, Station Square
"Ahhhh! Where's Sonic?" I said. Eggman hasn't attacked for while, which means now I CAN GO OUT WITH SONIC! And although I'm still mad about him kissing someone else but ME, at least it was what kept him alive. Time to rejoice!
*WHOOSH* "Woooooaah! What was that? Sonic?! Where's he going? HEY, SONIC, WAIT UP!"
-Moral= Chasing after a blue hedgehog named Sonic for TOO long= Obsession
Chapter 2-A: Speed Up!
-April 22, Station Square- Circu de Round
"Phew.....I finally made it! Station Square's........wha? An amusement park? Why would Metal Sonic and his Cronies go there?" I thought. The amusement park was right over the hill, which was a great place for families everywhere to come and play. "Oh, well. Even if it's a mystery, it's something bad! Let's go!" *Speeds up*
"Yo, Sonic! Need some help?" Vector shouted. He and the Chaotix came by.
"Yeah! We didn't have any cases, so we decided to take a break at the amusement park!" Charmy said.
"Hmph." Was all Espio replied. Sheesh! That guy IS like a ninja!
"So, what's going on here, Sonic?" Mighty said.
"Metal Sonic went to the amusement park. I don't know what he's there for, but it's probably nothin' good!" I replied.
"Then, let's get him." Espio said, almost a whisper. And with that, we dashed.
Chapter 2-B: Shadow Long' the Highway
-April 22, Westopolis- Radical Highway
I informed Rouge and Omega of what we had to do. Omega silently nodded and Rouge yelled happily.
"Well, if we need to get to the Eclipse Cannon, let's take a shortcut: the same trail we used to get to the ARK last time. However, if someone is gonna use the Eclipse Cannon, we should get a Chaos Emerald so they can't use it." Rouge said.
"I AGREE. GETTING THE CHAOS EMERALDS IS THE FIRST AND FOREMOST LOGICAL CHOICE." Omega agreed.
"Fine. We'll take Radical Highway. Apparently, I stole an Emerald one time there across that path, in a bank. I think they put it back." I replied.
"Good. Let's take it back!" Rouge said.
"Then, let's rush." I said. We ran past the tunnels, and onto the street. We crossed the bridge, making it to the end of the Highway. "Hmph. That wasn't too bad."
"It seemed a lot easier this time," Rouge said. "Why?"
"Well, we're not being chased by police. That's a good thing." I replied.
"IT IS NOT. THOUGH, I SENSE SOME UNITS IN OUR SURROUNDINGS. PREPARE FOR BATTLE!" Omega warned. We poised and readied ourselves for the oncoming surge. Suddenly, from the ground, three robots blasted through.
"HELLO. I AM SHADOW 2.0. HERE IS ROUGE AND OMEGA 2.0. WE WERE SENT HERE TO STOP YOU FROM OBTAINING THE CHAOS EMERALD." Shadow 2.0 said.
"2.0? Really? YOU are the ultimate life- form? Don't make me laugh. You're just a wooden copy." I replied. Thus, we rushed into battle.
Chapter 2-C: Betrayal
-April 21, Stormwing Island- Base
"Welcome, my minions, to the world that will be conquered by me!!!" I said to my servants as they activated. "You serve me, and if you serve me well, I'll choose a new king or queen. I'll serve the winner after I choose. Any questions?"
"NO, SIR." They all replied.
"Good. Now come with me to Eggman's base." I yelled. We flew back to Eggman's about- to- be- old base.
"METAL! WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? I ATE TEN CHEESEBURGERS BEFORE YOU CAME!" That fat, old coot said.
"Sorry, master. I have destroyed all living beings on the island. I have also made more servants for you." I said.
"Good work, Metal! How do they react to my orders?" Eggman inquired.
"Greatly, sir. They will follow every command that you ask of them." I said. Haha! The fat buffoon doesn't know that THEY'RE working for ME!
Eggman laughed. "Good."
"Yes, master. But may I suggest a new plan?" I asked.
"WHAT IS IT?! I'M GETTING IMPATIENT!" Dr. Eggman shouted.
"Well, sir, if I may, if we can obtain all of the Emeralds, we can repair and use the Eclipse Cannon again!" I said.
That buffoon growled. "I've tried once. I failed, with a robot army and Shadow and Rouge. What makes you think it will work again?"
"Easy, sir. This time you have a squadron of copies of that Hedgehog's friends." I pointed at the robots. "They have all of their information from your database."
"Good. This might work. With this, NO ONE CAN STOP ME!" Eggman laughed. "Metal, get you and my squadron to repair the ARK, and get the Chaos Emeralds!"
"Yes, sir." Everything was going according to plan.
Sub Chapter: Knuckles
-1999, Angel Island
Ugh. Sometimes I find this job to be boring and annoying. Yet, it's my sacred duty to protect the Master Emerald. *Sigh* It all started long ago.......when I was twelve. We were the last of our race, or so we thought. I was a young apprentice, chosen to be leader of the Echidnas after I grew up. My master said, "This race will die out soon, Knuckles. You are one of the only young ones left. Instead of becoming leader, I need you to guard the Master Emerald. You still have much life in you, young one."
"But master, why will our race become extinct soon?" I asked. I was young. I didn't know much at the time.
"Because our tribe will always have bloodshed among ourselves. That violence is what almost killed us before. When I chose you, Knuckles, I knew you wouldn't be one to cause violent acts. I knew: You are a protector, not a destroyer." My master replied.
"Yes, master. I will protect the Master Emerald."
Then, I met Sonic the Hedgehog. I help him in his daily adventures, or when the Master Emerald is involved. It helps.
-Moral: When you're bored, hang out with Sonic.
Chapter 3-A: Rushin' it with the Chaotix!
-April 21, Circu de Round
There we were, chasin' after Metal Sonic! "Lets go, go, GO!" I shouted. With that, I blazed through the hill with tremendous speed. I went into overdrive: The Spindash. "Guys! I need some leverage over here!"
"No prob!" Vector said.
"Guys. Chaotix Plan Number 57." Espio said quietly. With that, everyone teamed up to get me to Metal Sonic.
"Sorry, Sonic. We're gonna have to stop ya!" Vector said. I was about to ask why until Mighty and Charmy rolled Vector into me. Ouch! I was on the ground. Then, Vector picked me up! He rolled me up into spindash form. "What are you doing, Vector?!" I cried.
"Sorry, buddy." Vector replied. Then he threw me down the hill, with me going extremely fast with both the slope of the hill and Vector's power throw. Suddenly, Espio threw a ninja star into an awkward position! Wait a minute, were they going to.......
"AHHH!" I was cannon-bolted and flying to Metal Sonic! I unrolled myself and looked back. The Chaotix were waving good-bye at me. And I looked forward. Time to see what Metal Sonic's up to!
3-B: First Chase
-April 22, Radical Highway
"HMPH. CATCH US IF YOU CAN." Said that wooden copy. Then, those 2.0 bots showed us their abilities. Their moves, their attacks, theyway they ran, the way they spoke- everything was the same. I wonder who built them.
"Guys, they seem to be exactly like us. There's only one way to do this. Split up!" I said. I stared at Rouge and Omega. They understood. While they kept those shabby- looking 2.0 bots, I would get the Chaos Emerald. I ran through the highway, finally getting to the bridge. Great, now all I have to do is get to the other side.
"OH NO, YOU WON'T." My copy shouted. I saw him running behind me. He finally caught up to me. Then, we were across from each other, only a few feet apart.
"Try to beat me." I said. We raced.
Chapter 3-C: Start!
-April 21, Base
My plans for world domination had started. I would need three things:
1. The Seven Chaos Emeralds
2. A Battery Big Enough to Power the ARK
3. Some tools and some repair bots
I asked Dr. Eggman if he could supply me with some tools and repair bots for the ARK. He agreed. Now, all I need is the Seven Chaos Emeralds and a big battery. I searched the computers:
BIG AMUSEMENT PARK TOMORROW!
I laughed in amusement. "Good. Our plan starts tomorrow. Shadow, Rouge, Omega, get the Chaos Emerald from the bank! Amy, Big, Cream & Cheese! Get the Emerald from a place called Windy Valley! Tails, Knuckles, and I will get the battery. We will take the rest of the emeralds soon. If you see any distractions, DESTROY THEM."
Sub Chapter: Blaze & Marine
-2007: Months after SRA, Windmill Island
"Ey, been a while since you came, Blaze!" Marine said.
"I know. We had quite the adventure, didn't we?" Blaze replied.
"Aye, we did! With Sonic and Tails around, we had a good ol' time!" Marine yelled.
"I''m sure Tails is building a new invention, but I wonder how Sonic's doing now......."
-Sonic, however, was beating gluteous maximouses in a book.
-Guess what game he was in and you win an EGGROLL!
-Moral: Never think about what you're friend's doing, as you're gonna jinx em.
Chapter 4-A: CHAAAARGE!
-April 22, Circu de Round
As I was looking towards Metal Sonic, turns out I was basically a missile. I was charging at him! "Ahhhhhhhhh!" I yelped.
*BOOM!* I hit him. As we both fell into the ground, I saw his henchmen. They looked like........my friends. I went unconscious.
Transition- 1 hour later
"Ugh....." I said weakly. I doubled over in pain. As I got myself up, I found myself looking at Metal Sonic and his henchman.
"Well, well, well. Hello, my alter ego. Looks like you got hurt pretty bad." Metal Sonic said in a dominating tone. "You've probably seen my henchmen, copies of your friends. *Laughs* You know, we can probably kill you now, here where no one's around."
"Not!" Charmy yelled in surprise. He came with the Chaotix!
I winced in pain. "Ugh.....Thanks for cannon-balling me, guys!"
Vector laughed. "No problem! Now, you rest. Let us beat these guys!" And the Chaotix charged at Metal Sonic and his team.
Chapter 4-B: Down Under the Ground
-April 22, Radical Highway
We raced through the bridge, attack each other on the way. "*Huff, huff* You're really good....." I commented. He was striking me constantly without any sign of weakness. I, on the other hand, started to tire.
I fought my copy to the limit. He, however, kept striking and striking again. I was on the verge of falling off the bridge.......
"THIS IS YOUR END, OBSOLETE LIFE FORM." Shadow 2.0 said. He was right. I WAS obsolete. Or maybe he's just better........Is this my end?
"GOOD BYE, FAILURE." Shadow 2.0 said. He hit me with a spin dash, thrusting me off the bridge......I'm sorry, Maria........
Chapter 4-C 1/2: Rush past Station Square!
-April 22, On the way to Circu de Round
We started the plans. Shadow 2.0 and his team went to Radical Highway, Amy 2.0 and her team went to Windy Valley, and my team was on the way to Circu de Round, where we were to get a battery big enough for the ARK. As we passed Station Square, flying, my sensors indicated that Sonic was within our presence. "Speed up." I commanded to Tails 2.0 and Knuckles 2.0. They listened. We sped up even farther, getting away from that nasty, blue rodent. We were almost at Circu de Round when I realized he was following us the whole time! I saw the Chaotix right behind him!
"Blasted fools! GO!" I yelled. I looked back, seeing Sonic being shot at me. *BAM!* Dang it. It hit. As Sonic and I both fell to the ground, I remained shut down for less than 10 minutes. I booted up, only to see Tails 2.0 and Knuckles 2.0. I looked. Sonic was right in front of us: helpless.
This was my chance. My chance to kill him.
Chapter 4-C 2/2: Battle on the Highway
-April 21- April 22, Base- Radical Highway
I am Shadow 2.0. I was created by my master, Metal Sonic. I was born on Stormwing Island. I was born to help my master rule the world in the process of thirty days. And then, I would be king.
My master's plans were simple. Repair the ARK. Kill anyone in the way. MY mission was to get one of the Chaos Emeralds. I decided to get one Chaos Emerald past Radical Highway. Before my team and I left, our master said one thing. "Don't fail. Or be eliminated."
"YES, SIR." We all said. Of course we wouldn't. We were made to be the betters of Sonic and his friends. And so we shall.
As we were flying past the tunnels of the bridge, my sensors indicated that three of Sonic's colleagues were here. "GO AROUND." I ordered. They did what I said. Heh. It's good to be the leader.
As we went around, I finally realized who it was. Shadow. And his friends. I gritted my gears. They were after the Chaos Emerald, too! "WE NEED TO DESTROY THEM." I said.
"WHY WOULD WE NEED TO DO THAT." Omega 2.0 asked. I hit him.
"BECAUSE, IDIOT. THEY'RE GOING AFTER THE CHAOS EMERALD, TOO." I yelled. Suddenly, I realized Omega had noticed us. We all flew forward to the "Real" Shadow. "HELLO, SHADOW. I AM SHADOW 2.0. YOUR COPY. WE HAVE COME HERE FOR THE CHAOS EMERALD." I told him.
"I know," He replied. "You're here to dominate the world."
"NOT US. OUR MASTER." I said.
"I see........Well then, copy, looks like you've lived long enough. Time to go to the scrap heap!" Shadow yelled.
I whispered to my teammates. "ALPHA PLAN A: SCRAMBLE FORMATION." They nodded. We separated. "HMPH. TRY AND CATCH US." Omega 2.0 and Rouge 2.0 flew to one way, and I flew to the left. As I looked behind me, I saw Shadow. We were crossing the bridge. Shadow ran past me and stopped. I landed, standing right next to Shadow.
"Looks like I have to stop you." Shadow said, quietly.
"LOOKS LIKE YOU DO." I replied.
He started running. "Try to beat me."
As I ran after him, we kept attacking one another. Pummel after pummel. Blow after blow. However, I wasn't hurt or tired. I was a stronger version of Shadow, after all. Shadow started slowing his pace. He was tiring. I took this chance and started attacking him with consecutive hits. He tried fighting back, but no more. I had pushed him on the edge of the bridge.
"YOU OBSOLETE VERSION OF ME. YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD WIN. BUT I AM BETTER, AND ALWAYS WILL BE." I laughed in glee. I hit him with one final blow, watching him fall off the bridge. I laughed maniacally. That was the final ending of Shadow the Hedgehog.

X-Tra Chapter: Amy
-February 14, Valentine's Day Festival - Before the mission
YAAAY! Today, I can go out with Sonic! I've been trying to get him to do this for months! And now, it's finally come true! "Come on, Amy! The fireworks are starting!" Sonic cried.
"Coming!" I yelled back. Ohhhhh, this was so exciting! Under the fireworks, I would be with my soon- to- be hubby, Sonic! Suddenly, pops of flares blew up into the air, becoming beautiful fireworks! I looked at Sonic. He looked at me. I got ready for the kiss.........When he looked away, back at the fireworks.
"SONIC!!!!! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" I screamed. He got scared and started running. He better!!!!!! And I chased him all day and night, until I finally got him and tied him on a tree. I stuck a sign on the ground saying, "Punished Hedgehog. Make fun of him freely."
I left soon thereafter, hearing Sonic yelling, "AMYYYYYYYY!!!!" The whole night. Well, that's what you get~

"At last, I've awoken from my deep slumber!" I, Metal Sonic, yelled in magnificence. "Yet, my head still hurts. It seems that the shock to my cerebral cortex will slowly heal itself. I have limited time. According to my readings, I have thirty days."
I looked out over the horizon. This WOULD be a good place for a base, but first things first.........
Transition: 1 hour later
"Hmph. That took longer than I expected." I said angrily. "That lightning strike really fried my circuits. If I'm only gonna rule the Earth for thirty days, I need to be stronger. And when I do rule the Earth, I need a kingdom. I need a successor. I a plan."
Transition: 5 hours later
*CLANK CLANK* "Finally, it's done. Longer than I thought, but fast enough. I have made servants. Copies of that blasted Hedgehog's friends. Metal Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, and more! I've made an squadron! A squadron with the power to obliterate all!" I laughed maniacally. "Now, time to activate them..................."
Sub Chapter: Eggman
-April 20, Base
"Aarrgh! Where is that Metal Sonic! I didn't make him to be a slowpoke!" I yelled. "Dr. Robotnik should not be kept waiting!"
"Master, are you okay?" Asked a robot of mine. "Do you need another cheeseburger?"
"YES, I DO!" I yelled. He started shaking in fear.
"B-b-but I thought you were on a diet........." He replied.
"Are YOU my mother? Are YOU ordering me to do things?" I started yelling angrily.
"NO, SIR! I WILL GET THAT CHEESEBURGER FOR YOU SIR!" And with that the robot dashed away in a panic.
"Dumb robots."

Sub Chapter: Amy
-April 22, Station Square
"Ahhhh! Where's Sonic?" I said. Eggman hasn't attacked for while, which means now I CAN GO OUT WITH SONIC! And although I'm still mad about him kissing someone else but ME, at least it was what kept him alive. Time to rejoice!
*WHOOSH* "Woooooaah! What was that? Sonic?! Where's he going? HEY, SONIC, WAIT UP!"
-Moral= Chasing after a blue hedgehog named Sonic for TOO long= Obsession
Chapter 2-A: Speed Up!
-April 22, Station Square- Circu de Round
"Phew.....I finally made it! Station Square's........wha? An amusement park? Why would Metal Sonic and his Cronies go there?" I thought. The amusement park was right over the hill, which was a great place for families everywhere to come and play. "Oh, well. Even if it's a mystery, it's something bad! Let's go!" *Speeds up*
"Yo, Sonic! Need some help?" Vector shouted. He and the Chaotix came by.
"Yeah! We didn't have any cases, so we decided to take a break at the amusement park!" Charmy said.
"Hmph." Was all Espio replied. Sheesh! That guy IS like a ninja!
"So, what's going on here, Sonic?" Mighty said.
"Metal Sonic went to the amusement park. I don't know what he's there for, but it's probably nothin' good!" I replied.
"Then, let's get him." Espio said, almost a whisper. And with that, we dashed.
Chapter 2-B: Shadow Long' the Highway
-April 22, Westopolis- Radical Highway
I informed Rouge and Omega of what we had to do. Omega silently nodded and Rouge yelled happily.
"Well, if we need to get to the Eclipse Cannon, let's take a shortcut: the same trail we used to get to the ARK last time. However, if someone is gonna use the Eclipse Cannon, we should get a Chaos Emerald so they can't use it." Rouge said.
"I AGREE. GETTING THE CHAOS EMERALDS IS THE FIRST AND FOREMOST LOGICAL CHOICE." Omega agreed.
"Fine. We'll take Radical Highway. Apparently, I stole an Emerald one time there across that path, in a bank. I think they put it back." I replied.
"Good. Let's take it back!" Rouge said.
"Then, let's rush." I said. We ran past the tunnels, and onto the street. We crossed the bridge, making it to the end of the Highway. "Hmph. That wasn't too bad."
"It seemed a lot easier this time," Rouge said. "Why?"
"Well, we're not being chased by police. That's a good thing." I replied.
"IT IS NOT. THOUGH, I SENSE SOME UNITS IN OUR SURROUNDINGS. PREPARE FOR BATTLE!" Omega warned. We poised and readied ourselves for the oncoming surge. Suddenly, from the ground, three robots blasted through.
"HELLO. I AM SHADOW 2.0. HERE IS ROUGE AND OMEGA 2.0. WE WERE SENT HERE TO STOP YOU FROM OBTAINING THE CHAOS EMERALD." Shadow 2.0 said.
"2.0? Really? YOU are the ultimate life- form? Don't make me laugh. You're just a wooden copy." I replied. Thus, we rushed into battle.
Chapter 2-C: Betrayal
-April 21, Stormwing Island- Base
"Welcome, my minions, to the world that will be conquered by me!!!" I said to my servants as they activated. "You serve me, and if you serve me well, I'll choose a new king or queen. I'll serve the winner after I choose. Any questions?"
"NO, SIR." They all replied.
"Good. Now come with me to Eggman's base." I yelled. We flew back to Eggman's about- to- be- old base.
"METAL! WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? I ATE TEN CHEESEBURGERS BEFORE YOU CAME!" That fat, old coot said.
"Sorry, master. I have destroyed all living beings on the island. I have also made more servants for you." I said.
"Good work, Metal! How do they react to my orders?" Eggman inquired.
"Greatly, sir. They will follow every command that you ask of them." I said. Haha! The fat buffoon doesn't know that THEY'RE working for ME!
Eggman laughed. "Good."
"Yes, master. But may I suggest a new plan?" I asked.
"WHAT IS IT?! I'M GETTING IMPATIENT!" Dr. Eggman shouted.
"Well, sir, if I may, if we can obtain all of the Emeralds, we can repair and use the Eclipse Cannon again!" I said.
That buffoon growled. "I've tried once. I failed, with a robot army and Shadow and Rouge. What makes you think it will work again?"
"Easy, sir. This time you have a squadron of copies of that Hedgehog's friends." I pointed at the robots. "They have all of their information from your database."
"Good. This might work. With this, NO ONE CAN STOP ME!" Eggman laughed. "Metal, get you and my squadron to repair the ARK, and get the Chaos Emeralds!"
"Yes, sir." Everything was going according to plan.
Sub Chapter: Knuckles
-1999, Angel Island
Ugh. Sometimes I find this job to be boring and annoying. Yet, it's my sacred duty to protect the Master Emerald. *Sigh* It all started long ago.......when I was twelve. We were the last of our race, or so we thought. I was a young apprentice, chosen to be leader of the Echidnas after I grew up. My master said, "This race will die out soon, Knuckles. You are one of the only young ones left. Instead of becoming leader, I need you to guard the Master Emerald. You still have much life in you, young one."
"But master, why will our race become extinct soon?" I asked. I was young. I didn't know much at the time.
"Because our tribe will always have bloodshed among ourselves. That violence is what almost killed us before. When I chose you, Knuckles, I knew you wouldn't be one to cause violent acts. I knew: You are a protector, not a destroyer." My master replied.
"Yes, master. I will protect the Master Emerald."
Then, I met Sonic the Hedgehog. I help him in his daily adventures, or when the Master Emerald is involved. It helps.
-Moral: When you're bored, hang out with Sonic.
Chapter 3-A: Rushin' it with the Chaotix!
-April 21, Circu de Round
There we were, chasin' after Metal Sonic! "Lets go, go, GO!" I shouted. With that, I blazed through the hill with tremendous speed. I went into overdrive: The Spindash. "Guys! I need some leverage over here!"
"No prob!" Vector said.
"Guys. Chaotix Plan Number 57." Espio said quietly. With that, everyone teamed up to get me to Metal Sonic.
"Sorry, Sonic. We're gonna have to stop ya!" Vector said. I was about to ask why until Mighty and Charmy rolled Vector into me. Ouch! I was on the ground. Then, Vector picked me up! He rolled me up into spindash form. "What are you doing, Vector?!" I cried.
"Sorry, buddy." Vector replied. Then he threw me down the hill, with me going extremely fast with both the slope of the hill and Vector's power throw. Suddenly, Espio threw a ninja star into an awkward position! Wait a minute, were they going to.......
"AHHH!" I was cannon-bolted and flying to Metal Sonic! I unrolled myself and looked back. The Chaotix were waving good-bye at me. And I looked forward. Time to see what Metal Sonic's up to!
3-B: First Chase
-April 22, Radical Highway
"HMPH. CATCH US IF YOU CAN." Said that wooden copy. Then, those 2.0 bots showed us their abilities. Their moves, their attacks, theyway they ran, the way they spoke- everything was the same. I wonder who built them.
"Guys, they seem to be exactly like us. There's only one way to do this. Split up!" I said. I stared at Rouge and Omega. They understood. While they kept those shabby- looking 2.0 bots, I would get the Chaos Emerald. I ran through the highway, finally getting to the bridge. Great, now all I have to do is get to the other side.
"OH NO, YOU WON'T." My copy shouted. I saw him running behind me. He finally caught up to me. Then, we were across from each other, only a few feet apart.
"Try to beat me." I said. We raced.
Chapter 3-C: Start!
-April 21, Base
My plans for world domination had started. I would need three things:
1. The Seven Chaos Emeralds
2. A Battery Big Enough to Power the ARK
3. Some tools and some repair bots
I asked Dr. Eggman if he could supply me with some tools and repair bots for the ARK. He agreed. Now, all I need is the Seven Chaos Emeralds and a big battery. I searched the computers:
BIG AMUSEMENT PARK TOMORROW!
I laughed in amusement. "Good. Our plan starts tomorrow. Shadow, Rouge, Omega, get the Chaos Emerald from the bank! Amy, Big, Cream & Cheese! Get the Emerald from a place called Windy Valley! Tails, Knuckles, and I will get the battery. We will take the rest of the emeralds soon. If you see any distractions, DESTROY THEM."
Sub Chapter: Blaze & Marine
-2007: Months after SRA, Windmill Island
"Ey, been a while since you came, Blaze!" Marine said.
"I know. We had quite the adventure, didn't we?" Blaze replied.
"Aye, we did! With Sonic and Tails around, we had a good ol' time!" Marine yelled.
"I''m sure Tails is building a new invention, but I wonder how Sonic's doing now......."
-Sonic, however, was beating gluteous maximouses in a book.
-Guess what game he was in and you win an EGGROLL!
-Moral: Never think about what you're friend's doing, as you're gonna jinx em.
Chapter 4-A: CHAAAARGE!
-April 22, Circu de Round
As I was looking towards Metal Sonic, turns out I was basically a missile. I was charging at him! "Ahhhhhhhhh!" I yelped.
*BOOM!* I hit him. As we both fell into the ground, I saw his henchmen. They looked like........my friends. I went unconscious.
Transition- 1 hour later
"Ugh....." I said weakly. I doubled over in pain. As I got myself up, I found myself looking at Metal Sonic and his henchman.
"Well, well, well. Hello, my alter ego. Looks like you got hurt pretty bad." Metal Sonic said in a dominating tone. "You've probably seen my henchmen, copies of your friends. *Laughs* You know, we can probably kill you now, here where no one's around."
"Not!" Charmy yelled in surprise. He came with the Chaotix!
I winced in pain. "Ugh.....Thanks for cannon-balling me, guys!"
Vector laughed. "No problem! Now, you rest. Let us beat these guys!" And the Chaotix charged at Metal Sonic and his team.
Chapter 4-B: Down Under the Ground
-April 22, Radical Highway
We raced through the bridge, attack each other on the way. "*Huff, huff* You're really good....." I commented. He was striking me constantly without any sign of weakness. I, on the other hand, started to tire.
I fought my copy to the limit. He, however, kept striking and striking again. I was on the verge of falling off the bridge.......
"THIS IS YOUR END, OBSOLETE LIFE FORM." Shadow 2.0 said. He was right. I WAS obsolete. Or maybe he's just better........Is this my end?
"GOOD BYE, FAILURE." Shadow 2.0 said. He hit me with a spin dash, thrusting me off the bridge......I'm sorry, Maria........
Chapter 4-C 1/2: Rush past Station Square!
-April 22, On the way to Circu de Round
We started the plans. Shadow 2.0 and his team went to Radical Highway, Amy 2.0 and her team went to Windy Valley, and my team was on the way to Circu de Round, where we were to get a battery big enough for the ARK. As we passed Station Square, flying, my sensors indicated that Sonic was within our presence. "Speed up." I commanded to Tails 2.0 and Knuckles 2.0. They listened. We sped up even farther, getting away from that nasty, blue rodent. We were almost at Circu de Round when I realized he was following us the whole time! I saw the Chaotix right behind him!
"Blasted fools! GO!" I yelled. I looked back, seeing Sonic being shot at me. *BAM!* Dang it. It hit. As Sonic and I both fell to the ground, I remained shut down for less than 10 minutes. I booted up, only to see Tails 2.0 and Knuckles 2.0. I looked. Sonic was right in front of us: helpless.
This was my chance. My chance to kill him.
Chapter 4-C 2/2: Battle on the Highway
-April 21- April 22, Base- Radical Highway
I am Shadow 2.0. I was created by my master, Metal Sonic. I was born on Stormwing Island. I was born to help my master rule the world in the process of thirty days. And then, I would be king.
My master's plans were simple. Repair the ARK. Kill anyone in the way. MY mission was to get one of the Chaos Emeralds. I decided to get one Chaos Emerald past Radical Highway. Before my team and I left, our master said one thing. "Don't fail. Or be eliminated."
"YES, SIR." We all said. Of course we wouldn't. We were made to be the betters of Sonic and his friends. And so we shall.
As we were flying past the tunnels of the bridge, my sensors indicated that three of Sonic's colleagues were here. "GO AROUND." I ordered. They did what I said. Heh. It's good to be the leader.
As we went around, I finally realized who it was. Shadow. And his friends. I gritted my gears. They were after the Chaos Emerald, too! "WE NEED TO DESTROY THEM." I said.
"WHY WOULD WE NEED TO DO THAT." Omega 2.0 asked. I hit him.
"BECAUSE, IDIOT. THEY'RE GOING AFTER THE CHAOS EMERALD, TOO." I yelled. Suddenly, I realized Omega had noticed us. We all flew forward to the "Real" Shadow. "HELLO, SHADOW. I AM SHADOW 2.0. YOUR COPY. WE HAVE COME HERE FOR THE CHAOS EMERALD." I told him.
"I know," He replied. "You're here to dominate the world."
"NOT US. OUR MASTER." I said.
"I see........Well then, copy, looks like you've lived long enough. Time to go to the scrap heap!" Shadow yelled.
I whispered to my teammates. "ALPHA PLAN A: SCRAMBLE FORMATION." They nodded. We separated. "HMPH. TRY AND CATCH US." Omega 2.0 and Rouge 2.0 flew to one way, and I flew to the left. As I looked behind me, I saw Shadow. We were crossing the bridge. Shadow ran past me and stopped. I landed, standing right next to Shadow.
"Looks like I have to stop you." Shadow said, quietly.
"LOOKS LIKE YOU DO." I replied.
He started running. "Try to beat me."
As I ran after him, we kept attacking one another. Pummel after pummel. Blow after blow. However, I wasn't hurt or tired. I was a stronger version of Shadow, after all. Shadow started slowing his pace. He was tiring. I took this chance and started attacking him with consecutive hits. He tried fighting back, but no more. I had pushed him on the edge of the bridge.
"YOU OBSOLETE VERSION OF ME. YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD WIN. BUT I AM BETTER, AND ALWAYS WILL BE." I laughed in glee. I hit him with one final blow, watching him fall off the bridge. I laughed maniacally. That was the final ending of Shadow the Hedgehog.

X-Tra Chapter: Amy
-February 14, Valentine's Day Festival - Before the mission
YAAAY! Today, I can go out with Sonic! I've been trying to get him to do this for months! And now, it's finally come true! "Come on, Amy! The fireworks are starting!" Sonic cried.
"Coming!" I yelled back. Ohhhhh, this was so exciting! Under the fireworks, I would be with my soon- to- be hubby, Sonic! Suddenly, pops of flares blew up into the air, becoming beautiful fireworks! I looked at Sonic. He looked at me. I got ready for the kiss.........When he looked away, back at the fireworks.
"SONIC!!!!! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" I screamed. He got scared and started running. He better!!!!!! And I chased him all day and night, until I finally got him and tied him on a tree. I stuck a sign on the ground saying, "Punished Hedgehog. Make fun of him freely."
I left soon thereafter, hearing Sonic yelling, "AMYYYYYYYY!!!!" The whole night. Well, that's what you get~
