Error in LIVE

I dont know what is happening but i cant log into Live. i tried to make an account outside the game and inside the game. but all i get after i attempt to log on is error cant connect to live.. i looked at the network info and i dont have UpNP, Pc Address, and system link,

its's not the registation. its when i log on in the game. i get downloading account info. then it will say error cant connect with LIVE

I'm having the same problem as the OP. I Really hope we can get this fixed soon so I can Get with testing the game, not admiring Microsoft's Snazzy Error Pop-Up. But Anyway, as the OP Described, I get "Downloading Profile" For about 30 seconds, and then it gives me an Error Message Saying I'm either having Network trouble or LIVE is Down. I Hope this helps, and I Hope this gets cleared up soon.

I can connect to live easily, maybe your routers NAT is closed, check it!

Kinda a Noobish Question, But what in the World is My Router's NAT?

I have no idea what that NAT is. but could this problem be caused if my UPnP is disabled?
BTW i checked my NAT is enabled

not the nat as i have forwarded port 3074 on my router and my nat is set to allow all and not block anon inet requests (linksys wrt54g for all who wonder)


don't think the firewall is up on it nor is my comps :):):):):):) windows one so it's definitly a game issue

I got the connection error. I have sygate firewall and no matter how many rules I made to allow the specified UDP ports through. I finally just had to turn the firewall off. It's not a game issue, it's windows live attempting to access a bunch of stuff that it really doesn't need. I turned off the firewall (grudgingly) and it worked fine.

I have the same problem.
(EDIT: well actually not exactly the same. My error msg as you see in the pictures is different. but too many threads about pretty much the same thing, and this seemed as good as any)
As you can see I CANNOT login to Live, no matter what. I tried with 2 accounts (one my usual msn , that i upgraded for live and could then login normally to x-box site and view profile etc, and a brand new never-used just-created GfW live account, that i can also normally log into the site. -both silver membership)

As you can see I get no internet IP address, or PC account

On a side note, I did the whole account creation proccess through the gfw live site manually, cause when i tried to connect through the game itself, the game would alt+tab, explorer pop up but then error cannot open page etc...

I have also configured my NAT to the ports used (3074 & 88) , checked my network adapters so it's the only one there is, and even tweaked a bit with the Ip protocols installing uninstalling the IPv6..

Nothing has worked.

Just to be clear, I have a dsl connection, with a Speedtouch 780WL router, connected directly through Ethernet (Routed PPPoE on 8/35) (router and PCs on switch)


ANY ideas for why this is happening please let me know..
I've been searching both the forums and the internet for over 5 hours now with no luck. Tried every hint of a solution as well.

So please, at this point anything is welcome. I'm quite desperate.
