I had the same problem and I think the download stops after like 2 hours or something, so I can never finish because my internet is not fast enough to download in time I guess, but here's a solution. :D
I think some people experience this problem so here it is:
Get a download manager (flashget, IDM, etc.)
Use that to download the beta
It might stop downloading after a while
Go to the link where the beta download link is and press it again (go to the webpage where the activation codes are and also remember to refresh the page from last time. I think you have to log out and log back in if you can't get to the page.)
You should get the URL of the download by pressing it to the download manager and copy that address
Go to the stopped download's properties and change the download address to the new one
The download should resume and you're on your way to beta testing Universe at War!!! :wink:
