Kick Crash

Twice now have I played games where the other player has lagged out (yes, I'm sure it's not me), and so I inevitably press the "Kick" button after about 30 seconds of waiting. Both times I've done that, the game has reverted to a pure, black screen, with only my cursor (UAW style) showing. Now, the nice thing about this is that it doesn't seem to be an infinite loop- my processor is not straining, and I can easily alt+tab or alt+ctrl+del. However, I cannot do anything in the game, and am forced to end it from the Task Manager.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so I'm going to add it to the list I've made.
