Death From Above

A throwback to my Mechwarrior days with jump jets and squishing mechs with my 70 tonner...

I have heard references to DFA in this. My questions are:
Does anyone try this?
How much damage does it deal?
Does it bugger up your mobility base?

Not possible. This game has no hound collision damage. You could charge your hound right into another and neither gets damage. Death from above would still use the hound collision detection, and so isn't possible. Plus, rotor craft don't lift you high enough if you weight that much. Sorry, this isn't mechwarrior, we don't get jumpjets:(

Bah, worth asking about... I quite like the mine/bomb dropper floaty thing idea... perhaps Ill try that out...

Or maybe DFA with Piles that face downwards only... just for fun (utterly useless otherwise!)

Oh, I'm betting if it was possible, it would be very common. Heck, people would probably make ram carts! :lol:

Still, bomb dropping is tough as rotors just don't lift well I'm sorry to say.

It's still not worth it unless you're in FB... bombs just don't have the accuracy, which makes it next to impossible to use effectively...

use a c-salkar on hisan wheels w/ the lightest gen. Put 4 incendiary mortars facing down and fly over people and drop fire on them :twisted:

They have to "bounce to a stop" first, THEN they blow up...

Bomb launchers bounce. Mines explode on contact. That's how the "nuke-karts" were made...
