HUD dysplay problem [Archive]

I am having a problem. i recently bought the game and when i went to play it
there was no HUD and the main menu was a black screen with the option on the right side. and the beginning cinematic was just all black too. i have a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 video card. with 756 mb of ram. anyone know what the problem is?

Hey Zombie,

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm afraid the problem might be your card itself.

Can you try updating the driver at nvidia.com? Not sure that it will solve the problem - no offense but that card wasn't top of the line in 2003, and even less so now in 2008.

any chance there's an upgrade in your future?
