Why is phpBB crippled here?

I run a few phpBB boards, why do you have bbCode and pm turned off? i think those are two nice features about this product. Also HTML is off, you know you can limit what tags are permitted in both bbcode and html in case you dont want the full code set to be able to be used.

Originally, we weren't allowing these features because this message board is accessed from both the PC and the GameCube browser. The GC browser is fairly limited in it's capabilities. We therefore buttoned down the boards a bit so as not to crash the GC browser. We've done some testing and it seems that the PM feature does work on the GC browser. bbCode does not, but it doesn't affect use of the browser.

Therefore we have turned on the PM and bbCode funcitionality. However, we can't allow HTML (linking) on these boards--that would definitely crash the GC browser. :)
