View Full Version : New PSO 3 accounts- blank Serial #/account #

So as I've seen it chrono56 and shortyafter have this same problem: registering for PSO III with PSO III account/serial numbers and buying a HL- but when you go to play the game it says there is no numbers under your hunter's license. And under Edit Billing, the columns for Serial and account numbers are BLANK. None of us are reactivating any sort of account.
Shortyafter and I registered today, tuesday march 9th, chrono56 on the 7th.
SOMEONE HELP US PLEASE, THIS SUCKS

Hmm, I also have PSO I&II data on the same memory card, but I've never gone online with or entered the number. Hope it isn't linked

OK, haha, I realize this topic is entirely me...but if anyone finds this I still think it might be helpful. I think I'm closer to figuring it out.
I think everyone who's having an invisible serial number is pressing ENTER at the credit card authentication part- where you enter your name to approve card (the last step). If you press enter it goes through, but if you click "submit" it says there is an error. Problem must be in this step. I'm gonna try making an account with my numbers I never used from PSO ep I&2, this time with my GC. Crossing my fingers.

alright, those numbers worked up until the last step, the authentication part- then I get the "Unknown Error processing request. Try again later" junk. Seems other people are having similar problems (creating the account at all), but luckily on the gamecube there is no enter button to let you make a faux account with no numbers- This must be why only seem people get these dead accounts. I'm positive these two problems are linked. Hopefully this will resolve itself when and if they notice it's happening. In the meantime, DONT MAKE AN ACCOUNT BY PRESSING ENTER AT AUTHORIZATION.

Hate to tell you this, but I, too am having problems with the "Unknown error" when re-subscribing to EpI&II.

The thing I hate to tell you: People have been having the "Unknown error" thing for ATLEAST two weeks. Since Sega seems to not have a live-tech support line, you're screwed man :cry: Just like the rest of us.

We are supporting users on this issue--please do not broadcast things that aren't true.

If you are having problems with your account -- fill out the form on the site. You will get an auto-response. If you reply to that with your issue a rep will get back to you.

IT'S WORKING! I used the numbers from my other game. But on the PSO III website I still get blank- what happens to those people who DONT have extra numbers?

Hey ive figured out the problem. Try again on the 11th. It seems the server was down the 9th and 10th. Hopefully it'll work for both of us.

What's your problem, exactly, Shorty?

If you are tying to re-activate an account, go to the site for the game your first registered your account (i.e. PSO EP 1&2 site or PSO EP 3 site).

PSO EP 1&2 site:

If you are still not seeing anything, fill out the help form (in the help section). You will get an auto-response--just reply to it and someone will write back.
