Do I have to buy a hunters license to play online?

Do I have to buy a hunters license to play Episode I & II online or is it just for episode III because of its just for III then I don't care. If its for all 3 episodes then thats just stupid. Console online games should not require a subscription fee, then again, all online (including PC) should not require an online fee. Why do I need to pay to play the game when I already payed to get the game?

This is an MMO of course it costs money. There is ONE price to play Episode 1 & 2 and Ep 3 for the gamecube.

Yep but for the money you get to play both episode I & II and III on-line
so the price is that much sweeter.

Like the above said. Yeah, you need to pay for PSO online. 8.95 a month. However it covers both Ep. 1+2 and 3 if you have them.

Now, the reason why Sega needs to charge for the service is because it costs them to run and perform updates on servers. Now, sure, PC games dont always need to have a charge. But some do. It may depened on their server. Maybe the game company and the server worked a deal out somehow where they can use them for free. Or maybe the game company made a server of its own, so they dont charge at all.

However, in this case, Sega is with a different server co. (I dont know what) and they need to have us pay for the service. Its not that bad though, considering its flexibility. (Stop whenever you want and the 2 game deal). Plus it includes all of the customer service you need and free little things. (like downloadable quests and mini-games, etc.)
