Hello, I would just like to get some help here.
I've been playing PSO since it came for the DC in January 2001. My problem on the GC version is this:
When I am playing, I get a sign that I will be disconnected. Other users stop moving, and I can no longer see what I type onscreen. It then gives me the line of "Line has been Disconnected, Game over, Press Start."
I do that, and I just get a black screen. I do not know what else to do at this point, so I shut off my GC as a last resort. I know it is not a wise thing to do, but I seem to have no choice. When I return, I lose all my non-equipped items and Meseta that were on my character at the time. This is very frustrating.
I have a DSL connection, and this never occured to me while I was on Dial Up. My friend who used to play as well, (And quit due to the same reasons as I am stating above.) had the same problem with his game. (He also has a DSL connection.)
I do not use a router, I have the line directly into my GC. I also play on PSO Ep III with no problems. (Then again, I have not played that to the same extent as the older versions.)
Is there anything that can be done to remedy this? Thanks for any help given in advance. I really do not want to stop playing, but if this keeps up, I will. It is very frustrating...
