Help!!! Where can I find a GC PSO Ep. 1&2 game guide??!! I would have thought that if they are still selling the game, the guides would be much easier to find..!
Thanks for any assistance..!

PSO isn't really a game that needs a guide, but if you want one, most video game stores have more guides than they show. Just ask the guy behind the counter.
You know how big that guide would be?! There is way too much to PSO... You could just goto Pso-World or some other really helpful PSO site.

I have already checked with all the video game stores within an hour and a half of here (or else I wouldn't have posted, tyvm..)

Ok, I know there is (or WAS) one available, as my brother won't let me borrow his except for once in a blue moon (or leap year, or maybe on a certain cycle of his biorhythm..I have no idea WHY,) so I guess what I'm asking is can it be ordered online? The video game stores say they can't order it for me anymore..!

Oh, and you're right, Rath, that site and some others are very helpful, however as I still only have dial-up, I've found mag building (or any other info-finding) much less time consuming with the guide in front of me.
Any help is appreciated.

You know how big that guide would be?! There is way too much to PSO...I acually have one and it's not too big. It just has a walkthrough of all areas and offline quests, and tells about weapons. The funny thing is it rips the entire walkthrough of episode I (including screenshots) straight from the Dreamcast version. It even suggests bringing a spare weapon to Dark Falz in case you die and lose your weapon (when you die in the DC version, you would lose your weapon instead of unequipping it, but not in the version it's supposed to be for). LOL

I would imagine you could buy it off of the internet. I know ebgames.com has the episode 3 guide, so they might have 1&2 as well.
i acualy have & still use a DC v1 guide, its acurate & it dont have ep2 in it, but ep2 is just lvls & monsters, no offline quests to i think i can do fine with my self learned knolage or ep2, but if u need a nice guide look for a DC guide.

Thanks, but EBgames has only the Ep.3 guide. Any other suggestions...?

People are allowed to play different ways. I'm not a big fan of player's guides myself, but I'm not going to flame someone else about using one. -Respect carries you far here, disrespect throws you back.-
Have you tried Barnes and Nobles and Waldenbooks. (Not the online store. The actual store.) Sometimes they can order one directly. Waldenbooks as I remember charges only .25 extra for special orders. If all else fails, try to find it on eBay.

FYI, Kamatsu, "y dont u just get over urself and forget about it?" is a harsh statement to someone who's trying to improve their quality of gameplay. (And you were spending your time reading this thread, why, again?)
This time, I was able to find what I was looking for on planetdreamcast.com/psoworld, but as my time is valuable (and I still only have dial-up,) I'm still looking for a guide, so if anyone hears about an available one, please let me know. (..Battered condition is ok, illegible is not.)
I didn't even think about trying the bookstores, Armion, which is a good idea, too, so I'll be giving them a call.
If I get the chance, I think I'll be trying to snitch my brother's guide long enough to get the publisher's info., and write to them. It's my understanding they keep spare copies of everything. But since that will require secretive timing, if anyone has that info., please PM me ASAP! Thanks bunches! :)
And just so's ya know, Adri, I'm a she, not a he. :P lol
np i didnt know & didnt want call u an "it" so u desived to call u a guy, sorry i know its a pain when ppl do that to me, so truly sorry.

No offense taken, Adri. I couldn't help but tease you a little for it, since my char's icon is female, and the more common assumption is that a char's gender reflects the player's gender.
Sorry to barge in but, you dont need a guide I was thinking the same. The point is access to these boards is access to the world of PSO thats with asking a question and the experts anwsering like Armion,Adri,Jeffy,JZero, and thats only a few that can anwser any thing a game guide can.If you want a mag section Sophia is a mag section herself. If i helped you im glad, if i didnt im sorry.

I myself have really never used a guild. One of my friends has the old DC guide for ep1. I only find it useful for maps and such, nothing else. (Thats my opinion) But, I do use a small guide in a 2003 Electronic Gaming Monthly Magazine. All I use it for is a list of all the rares in the game and what section IDs you need to get those Items. It also gives requirements and stats on each particular item.

Thank you, everybody! I have been able to locate a copy on Ebay, and barring any unforseen problems, should be receiving it any day now in my mailbox.
Kudos to PSO World's website for their astounding amount of information, and thanks goes as well to Sophia's Mag Farm group on Yahoo!, but I am looking forward to having any reference material desired at my fingertips at a moment's notice, should I so desire. *God bless America!*
