Question on Mags...

Okay somehow I got a rare mag called Sato. I dont know how I got it, and I tried to make another for one of my other characters. but I got it all the way to level 200 but it never changed into a rare. Does anyone know the requirement fors a Rare mag and how to get them?

These so called Rare Mags are known as the 4th evolution mags.

Sato, Rati, Pushan, Rukmin, Bhima, Nidra, Savitri, Diwari, and Bhima.

Each Character has a 4th evolution mag based on their Id, class, and gender. If a mag is raised correctly the desired effect for a 4th evolution is quite easy to perform. It revolves around a system where 2 stats when added up equal the other 2 stats of a mag at any 10th level after 100, ie 100, 110, 120, 130... and so forth.

They work like such
Def + Dex = Pow + Mind For Virdia, Blueful, Redria, & Whitill ONLY
HU Male =Deva
HU female =Savitri
RA Male =Pushan
RA female =Rukmin
FO male =Nidra
FO female =Sato

Def + Pow = Dex + Mind For Skyly, Pinal, & Yellowboze ONLY
HU Male =Rati
HU female =Savitri
RA Male =Pushan
RA female =Diwari
FO male =Nidra
FO female =Bhima

Def + Mind = Pow + Dex For Greennill, Oran, & Purplenum ONLY
HU Male =Rati
HU female =Savitri
RA Male =Pushan
RA female =Rukmin
FO male =Nidra
FO female =Bhima

Once a 4th evolution mag has been achived you can no longer use cells or kits on the mag, and the mag will never evolve again in to anything different. Meaning it's stuck the way it is for the rest of it's life.

Forget about the rare mags in my oppinion. I am quite more attached to my regular mags then the rare ones.

Hah.. Thats cool. Well, I have 1 regular mag, level 200 Bhirava. (My failed attempt at another rare) but now that I know how to get them, I'm gonna try and get a Rati for my Hucast and maybe something for my Ranger. Since my Force has the Sato.

Ah alas my beutiful Dream Cast Mag. Corruption is so cruel. I hunted for the kits and slaved over raising that thing. Such a great defence mag. Sigh...

:( Too bad, I had a corruption with my first char, level 200 Rati, best thing I could get was 4th evolution being I'm not online. All I can tell you is try raising another. As of now I have Rati, Sato, and Pushan Mags. Hunter, Ranger, and force.

Is it true that raising a mag so that every stat is 50 will give you a rare. someone wrote that if any combination of two stats equal the other two, you will get a certain rare depending on your class. But if they are all 50, then that mag will fit any requirement. So will you get a rare and if so, what could you get with a HUcaseal or a RAcast or a HUnewearl?

I know that syncro makes your mag's photon blasts more effective, or if I'm wrong then what does it do? But my real question is What purpose does I.Q. serve?

I am pretty sure it depends on what mag you have. Like some as in Rati and Deva cast Shifta and Deband, and Sato and Nidra cast invincibility. I am pretty sure depending on your IQ it matters how long those little mag specials last. I heard about the old school DC days where some people hacked mags with 32,000 IQ. Once invincible it lasted for hours..

despite any rumor you've heard, invinsibility only ever last for a minute or two. It's not hugely based on your IQ on how long it will last, but more on how often it might occur.

As far as 4th evolution mags go, as long as any two stats equal the other two stats at any 10th level after 100, ie 100, 110, 120, 130, etc... you might be able to get a 4th evolution mag if you have the right ID, class, and gender. Refer above the part post for the combinations of stats and their outcomes, i thought it would have been fairly simple already.

Mags can only have 3 at a time, but in total, there are 6 different photon blasts.

Shes a mag farmer. I dont know how long she has been one. But shes really good at it. She does know alot (if not everything) there is to know on mags and how to raise them.

thank you MR Secretary, but i can answer my own questions very easily, just ask zathura2, he'll let you know how much i dislike secretaries.

As far as my knowledge on MAGs, i am ofcourse a MAG FARMER. I've written a rather indepth collection of charts of mag feedings charts, mag evolution charts, cell mags, 4th evolution mags, and so forth. I'm in the work of writting a mag making guide, but with the lowing interest in PSO, it may be all for nothing since most likely i won't publish it at all.

I've made over 1000 mags which has given me enough time to accurately figure out everything i need to knwo abotu mags. Iv'e read up on mags as well, using info from various websites and proving them right or wrong. I've just done a lot of homework i guess, so i guess it pays off because i know alot about mags.
