There should be new quests for other holidays too

not all people are catholic and celebrate Christmas, though the majority is, i still think there should be a quest for certain jewish holidays for i am jewish. Of course this would be harder to do and take up more time of ST but i would appreciate it.

Yeah.. =| Another great holiday they should have... St. Pattys Day! Which is my B-Day.. the quest would be called... Drinkin' Fest! "Who ever can drink the most wins a prize!" lol. That is quite stereotypical.. -shrugs-

I... I just opened this thread. Check out Phantasy Star Religious Holidays.

It should be something we all look into. I know people of other faiths that would like to participate with their friends without feeling like they are comprimising themselves or being left out.

right, but the only problem is that it would be causeing sega to many problems i guess.

maybe in a future pso game they will have more holiday quests, though it is not probable, i guess there is just a greater chance.

The only Holidays that have religious significance that PSO celebrates are Christmas and Easter...and in no way on PSO do they even hint at any traces of religion...so I fail to see why people keep bringing this up...I mean really <.<;;

Well, although PSO doesn't actually talk about the religions that these Holidays endorse, and although many people disregard the religious conotations of these days, it cannot be denied that these two days are predominately Christian. Herein lay the problem. I would loath to be adamant about a religion other than Christian, and have my child playing this game, feeling awkward as they celebrate holidays in which they don't believe.

Well....true...but as stated in the other thread...the only holidays in PSO are the mega big marketing ones o_o (IE; Christmas, Easter, Valintines day,ect,) and im pretty sure thats the only reason they put them in..I mean...heck...like 90% of Japan is Budists...so I doubt its like their trying to push a religion on people.

But if people feel that strongly about it...they just shouldnt play...after all...you cant make another Holiday quest anyways unless the files you need are on your GC disc (example being you cant make a St. Patricks day rappy due to the thing not originally exsisting on the disc anyway)
