Well, the only OFFICIAL way to purchase an online account is via a Credit Card (mastercard or visa) via the PSO Billing Sites. These are the OFFICIAL Billing Sites for PSO, however, yeah, Credit Card is the only method. If you want, you might want to have you and your parents view SEGA's privacy policy at:

Remember, these message boards and the people here dont manage your account (since you said "you guys"). The Billing is handled officialy by SEGA and Sonic Team, and they have a very secure and licensed Billing Method.

However, if you still wish to not use a credit card, the only other way is to use an Un-Official Site the manages your account, while you pay them with Check, Cash or Money Orders. The site I know of (and most people do is:)

However, ONCE AGAIN keep in mind this billing method is not licensed by SEGA, and is totally unofficial.
Another downside of using this un-official method is that PSO EXPLORER charges 3 extra dollars as a service charge. SO instead of paying $8.95 a month, it would be $11.95 a month.
So in a sense, you might want to use the official method instead.


But your choice of billing method is up to you and your parents.
Review both choices, and choose accordingly.
