Sega is reporting that Blue Burst will be coming out June 05. Now there's a problem with this. This is for the european version. The USA version is still listed at Spring 05. What's the word on this new mods? Will it be at the same time? Or will we be a little earlier?

hey I live in England, so news that its coming out for europe is fantastic. ive got a few things to propose however:
the sega europe site says:
"Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst: Download it in June 2005, available in English only across Europe."
If its going to be only in English accross europe, why does it have to come out a month or so after the USA version? Theres no localisation, and im sure the spelling of the word colour/color is not gonna bother any brits!
Also, my diary says that june the 21st is when the summer sol. starts. meaning ST could release PSOBB in June in USA and still claim it to be in 'Spring'.
I think its gonna be a simultaneous launch.

Ya...but that's not like sega to do that. They usually release EU versions months after the USA version.

lol ah well. theres only april and may left before june, and i dont think they'll release it in April, and im sure May would be slightly pointless as June is the EU release. Especially as its only in English. A simulatenous release me thinks. I may be horribly wrong though.

Who knows...SEGA still might be unsure...or not wanting to reveal the date yet. (but I doubt that) I suppose that the addition of the Europe release date however is a good guide to about when the US version will release.

yeah i mean, I cant see the difference between the 2 versions, both in English, both released in spring, i think its simultaneous, or near enough.

European versions dont tend to be just in English, instead they tend to put the game in 4 languages. English, German, French, and Italian. For instance, people who imported Shenmue 2 for the Dreamcast had 3 other languages they wouldn't use. Remember, Europe is not just England, but several other countries.

Good point, however, being English I can read English, and the Sega Europe site says :
''Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst: Download it in June 2005, available in English only across Europe.''

yeah, likely. cant wait for it tbh. im wondering if, say the hunters license is $10 for USA, that the EU license will be dollar for pound/euro. in other words, i hope its not £10! lol. (thats like $18 ). Im hoping itll just say '$xx.xx' and what ever it is, you pay in dollars, so that its converted through transactions.

Well Blue Burst is 1050 Yen or $9/£5 - So my guess is a subscription rate of about $10/£5.99 pm (Same as PSOX).
