What is the signifigance of this section?

(5) engage in any “High Risk Activities,”which includes any use of the SEGA Web site(s), the Program, the Official Program Web Site, or the Program Server to design or develop, alone or in conjunction with any other product or service, any product or method to be used in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communications systems, air traffic control, life support machines, weapons systems, or any other environment requiring fail-safe performance in which the failure of such product or method could lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage;

Does this mean that like... If I worked at a nuclear power plant... I couldn't play PSOBB on the computers there? Or like.. I couldn't visit this website at the headquarters of an ISP, due to it being a communications system?

This seemed a bit odd, so it makes the ideal conversation-starter. :P

Yeah, I found that strange. It is probably there for a joke, being boring for many to read it and all.

"Let's take it up a notch. BAM!"

People sue for all sorts of crazy, crazy reasons. I don't blame 'em.

I think this pertains to laptops using wifi as they can interfere with sensitive equipment.

So much for complying with the FCC regulations. I just saw that clause in the ToS and figured the oddness made it a good icebreaker. Who thinks they can come up with the weirdest way to violate that clause? 8)

I believe that is in place for people like the guy who died because he never slept and his mom sued Sony Corp. I think the simply way of putting that is, don't use our program as a means to achieve anything other than a game high.

Even funnier, the third Flag Creation Warning:

Please do not use images that infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or personal likenesses, or use any image that may offend other players.

This basicly leaves us with colored squares :P

Seems to me Sega doesn't want to be blamed for terrorism. Boy, that'd be an odd CNN headline..."Sonic Hussein strikes again."

Oy, gotta love open legal interpretations. Gives yout he power to do anything.

Ex:Blue squares offend me, as a hedgehog ran me over when I was a small child. If it is not removed from your symbol chat list, I will see you in court next tuesday.

Oh well, seeing as half of the people playing the games never even give EULAs and ToS agreements a second glance, we'll probably not need to worry about it.
