Which Ship/Lobby?

Wonder what the popular, or the one that this forum is gunna choose? As far as ship goes any way. Blocks and lobbies were gunna have to determine ourselves.

Anyone gunna say which they normally go on? I hang around Deneb only cause it was less populated.

Well first the ships arnt the same as in PSO GC and uhhh no one here knows wherre thye most popular ships will be.

The most popular ships in the JP version are the first three blocks of the first ship (Aries 1, 2, and 3). They're often full to max capacity. I don't know if that's what will happen in US BB. but it might give you an idea where to start looking. :)

Yea... usually the first few blocks are the most popular ones, but I've noticed that Teams/Clans in the past have found their own hangouts to play with each other. I doubt the forum as a whole will choose one ship.

Has there been any word on what the names of the ships are going to be this time? I've always thought the name themes were cool in the past games. DC US ships were Uranian moons, GC US ships were stars in the summer triangle...etc.

I think we should all hang out on Oberon this time. That would be ever so much fun.

well it's very likeley going to be the first ship that pops up, like on GC, the US players all went to Vega, and that ship really was overloaded every day till the game kinda died. now everybody hangs out at deneb, but yeahim also interrested in the ship names, personally i think the JP BB ships are named very boring, like cancer, leo, and more of that stuff, i prefer the 'unknown stars'

The JP BB ships were named after zodiac signs, huh? Guess they're at least continuing the general astronomical theme...and yes, more star names would be cool. We already got Vega, now I want to play on Sirius, Betelgeuse, Rigel and Alpha Centauri.

I miss the DC names, lol. I'd hope they use some really cool lunar stuff that isn't very common, like they did in the past.

You easily could with what he's suggesting, just as any US player could go on say.. Mintaka on the game cube.

I think what he is getting at is more for purposes of faster game speeds and less lag. (Er well, not game speeds per se, the the characters less glitchy and what not.) Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the servers last time in the East Coast? I'm just guessing, seeing as I lagged all the time on 3 different ISPs..

I know the Gamecube servers were east coast. Also, when you say lag and glitching, the technical term your looking for is "extrapolation". :D

Can't think of a reason all of the server ((exclusive the Chinense since I believe it was released by a company other then Sega and ST.)) won't be linked I know they didn't in the X-box mostly due to the voice system as far as I know.

As for the blocks I would assume the same thing as the other verison the first few ships will always be more popular then the others kinda how it goes. I tended to stay out of most of the US ships anyway though by the time I got on GCN a good time back Vega was cleared out. Either way with a fresh start who knows.

I usually play on the first US server in block 3. It's rare i venture off into other servers but i'll consider it this time around.
