Ive read all to almost many of the posts by the fans and the game seems interesting. Ive played FFXI, Rose Online, Matrix Online, Dungeons and Dragons (xbox), and a bunch of other mmorpgs from betas and a webby that has some unique ones Pagn.net. Im a complete noob to this MMorgp. Seeing how I caught wind of there being a Beta for a new version of this im gonna jump in and play it. IM gonna test the waters so to speak by playing the version for the GC Episodes I & II I believe there are. Im curious if you think that version gives a little insite to what PSO : BB is gonna be like. Also I see that you can only have 4 person per party but when is a good time to actually join up in one? I like to solo low lvls til my char is strong enough to join up is this good for the PSO mmorgp? Lol Flame if ya want but other then Rose Online which is also in beta I havnt played any good MMORPs that acutally kept my interest for quite sometime but this one seems to have all the sci-fi/magic/tech type that I like.I just dont wanna compare BB to the first two episodes.

(there was a D&D mmorpg on xbox? News to me! lol)
If you want to get a feel for the type of game PSO is by playing the GC version thats fine, but keep in mind that the console versions of the game are largely insecure and cheating runs rampant. This alone makes the console versions rather unfit to play. But it will indeed give you a good idea as to what sort of game PSOBB will be.
Just keep in mind that PSO isn't really an MMORPG. Its simply an online multiplayer action RPG, much in the tradition of Diablo or Guild Wars. The world is level-based, like Diablo, and the emphasis is on progression and ultimately rare equipment to acquire. You can solo freely and adequately any time you like, but it is always easier with others, and the bosses will prove difficult without a team...unless you are significantly over-leveled. There are also some parts that you won't be able to pass without other players to step on the appropriate tiles.
