I just downloaded the client and tried patching. Got error that I couldn't connect to patch site.

I'll assume Sega took down the Patch server until May 10th?

Thanks,
~Matt

I just patched fine.
Try seeing if your firewall or something blocks you.

i JUST did mine a min ago, and it worked perfectly^^ im so happy^^
btw, its pretty obvious most people would notice the patch seems to be all about EP4, could this pave the way for an ep4 entry in the beta do you think?

Is there only one patch? Cuz I d/l'ed one patch, and when i went back to d/l the next (cuz i heard there were multiple patches), it said there was no more patch updates.

The current version i have is 1.20.5

Windows XP Pro, SP1, DX 9.0c. I hear that it's worked with people that don't have SP2, so what could my problem be?

Oh thanks, i thought we had to do them manually, like open it, d/l 1 patch, re-open it again.

But since there were 255 patches (I didnt know there were that many), then I assume it was all as one download.

Thanks for the help. :)

I can't get SP2 because my serial is, apparently, on their little block list for some reason. I went and updated a few available things though, and I tried again. I was able to get to a point where it told me that the patch was unavailable. So I tried again and then I crashed again.

SP2 has a tendency to go down.
Try at different times during the day.
I had the same problem when installing it.

I don't understand the question. My OS doesn't really have anything to do with my ISP does it? They say my Windows XP serial code is on their list of most used serials, so they won't let me download SP2.

And thanks Puppet, I guess i'll have to do that too. :?

Make sure you are running online.exe and not straight to psobb.exe.

If the serial is banned, the person just can't get any updates. It has nothing to do with not being able to surf the web.

The shortcut provided should goto online.exe.

Yea, that's what I thought. I was able to get the optional updates and a few Windows updates, though. Everything but SP2, really. But then again, do I even need SP2 to play PSOBB?

And I've been using the shortcut. If it isn't linked to online.exe by default then I have no idea what's wrong.
