View Full Version : File Problem

I've downloaded the client file from several different locations, even used bit torrent to download, but for some reason, it won't extract, and I'm told the file is corrupt. Has anyone received the same error? I don't really understand why this would happen if others are able to download it with no problems.

Any help is much appreciated.

Use WinRAR.
WinZip wouldn't work for me either.

I'm just providing the solution that worked for me.
Not saying it will be the same for everyone.

Not that it matters much, the client lets you install and patch, but you will be unable to play. Plenty of time to get it, but you'll still have to wait to play it.

well i still want to download it in the meantime... so i wont have to wait to install... then have it patched for updates... save some time on the waiting and such u know?

I know I know, just saying is all. Not so much a rush to grab the client, plenty of time till the beta launches.

Well, first of all, my firewall was causing me problems.

So I re-downloaded it, and extracted it, and just let it sit. Eventually it finished extracting and all was well.

I use Zonealarm, and it likes to block things without me knowing it (usually I have it ask permission) so, I believe that was the problem.
