I read the FAQ, but heres's the problem...

I always get stuck at the part between the patch screen and the character select screen. The background still behaves normally, but it just sits there and does nothing. I've done everything in the FAQ, but still nothing.

See if your firewall is blocking it.
Note: with some firewalls, you have to reallow it to connect after patching.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried opening the ports on my firewall and even tried with the firewall off.

Any more ideas?
