Thanks to ImSoDan for the helpful information! This worked for me.


Go to your Network Connections window. Right click your ethernet adapter, go to properties. Click Configure, then the advanced tab. DISABLE CHECKSUM OFFLOAD. Your problem will be fixed.


Please note, this does not fix the problem with the patch not being available. It simply allows you to download the patch if one exists.

not everyone has that option.. i got a pci ethernet thing but dunt have that option in advace tab

I don't have that option either, however some people are saying the server is down. So hopefully thats all it is.

I have version 1.20.4 and a friend of mine had 1.20.4. He patched before everything went down. I couldn't patch. He did, and had 1.20.5. So I asked him to uninstall and try to patch. He couldn't.

What I'm saying is that the patch servers are down as far as I know... Just letting everyone know. If they didn't already...

yea thats what i'm thinking.. sega got smart, pulled out vs 1.20.5 n closed teh patch clients.. but whoever dled it before got in.. or maybe had a glitch n got through
