Typing problems

When I'm typing, It keeps missing letters, is this cause I have it set to low end? or is this just a Beta bug thing..

i cant type anything at all, the chat box pops up when i hit space, but i cant type anything

If you are running XP< there should be a software keyboard.
Try that.

Same as japanese version , Use the Language bar

You mean that XP thingy?
Or one in the game it's self.. All I wanna know is if everyone else has to type slowly for the game to keep up

I don't even get a chat box just a grey | at the bottom right hand corner. And before anyone lists all the ways to do it by changing launage settings done done and doesn't work

thats exactly what i get, the little | on the bottom left corner, which i assumed was where the chat would pop up.

ive done the lang changes also, thats how i was able to enter my user id in the 1st place, but this is in the game

Same thats as far as I got I can log in and play just no talking which in a party driven RPG you need to be able to do

I can't get mine to work either and I'm not disabling my asian text support because I use it every day.

Same problem, I hit enter at username to type it in and the blinking cursor does nothing, no characters appear either. Im not changing regional settings either, I use them for various language support =)

I've got the exact same problem... I tried entering my username/password this morning and it worked, I could type... and now that I patched the game, I can't... pretty weird... I'm sure we'd all like to see that bug fixed, we wanna play :P

I was able to type without problems when I entered in my user ID and created my character, but in game... I can't! Weird... Now I'm just standing around like an idiot fooling with everything else I can.

Just turn on japanese, and hit put direct input mode on. This works perfectly for me.

You have to have japanese text enabled, and turn it on ingame(need windowed) and one of the many japanese input modes is direct input, and it works great for me.

nothing work for me... i still can't type in game... i just saved my ID and password when my problem come! I can play now but can't type...

and... how we do the smile and the automatic sentence?

i did the method and got pass the log in screen, after that i remove the :):):) input from the regional thingy and can typr normally ingame.
