All the "Next Generation" console drama of course

I've already seen some billboard battles between Sony and Microsoft, fun stuff. I'm hoping Nintendo will join the fight soon.

The Nintendo Revolution.

Nintendo will own you all with the supreme uberness of it's next console. Just like how the GC is already doing to the PS2 and the Xbox, and how DS is owning the PsP. You know it is. You cannot deny the DS's revolutionary uberness.

You don't read much do you? Nintendo hasn't met GameCube sales for 2004 and 2005. Sony almost sold as many PSP's the first day as the whole DS lifetime.

Sony is still making money off the PS2 while Nintendo is opening up theme parks.

You better hope there Revolution brings them out of the dirt, mister fanboy.

Is it just me, or is the only console that isn't ugly as sin is the Revolution? Now, before ya flame me for being a fanboy, I do plan on getting all 3. I'm very excited about the capablities of the 360, not to mention the games coming out for it. But the PS3 and the 360 look more like speculation pieces rather than finished designs...

Didn't you see? The DS was GONE from shelves before the middle of the second day. And there were a million DSs shipped to America. 1,000,000 DSs. I won't deny that the PsP sold out just as quickly, but I'm saying that Nintendo isn't pulling any punches on the tech side of things. *coughWiFicapabilitiescough*

Since when has Nintendo been in the dirt at all? You said before that the GC isn't having as impressive of sales lately. Why? Because most people who wanted a GC got it long ago. Same with any system. Ex: Are you going to see much in the way of sales in 2005 for the Sega Genesis? No. Why? Because everyone who wanted it got it over a decade ago.

And in regards to what you said about the Revolution "bringing them out of the dirt", you obviously don't know much about how Nintendo works. Nintendo has never disapointed before, and the Revolution will be no exception.

NOTE: Before the readers of this thread continue on with the next paragraph of my post, let me just say that I hate Microsoft a lot more than I hate Sony. I actually don't hate Sony that much at all, but I just like Nintendo a lot better.

And haven't you heard what Microsoft has said? They've said that if the Xbox 360 is to have any chance of success, they HAVE to release it before the PS3 or Revolution come out. I agree with this statement, too. Microsoft is recognizing both Nintendo and Sony as fair competition, but they wouldn't be nearly as worried if the Gamecube was having as poor of sales as you claim it to have. Have you heard about what Nintendo and Sony are planning on putting into their systems? If I were Microsoft, I'd be scared, too.

If Microsoft doesn't put all of their efforts into making the Xbox 360, they just might go the way of the departed (but never forgotten) system, Dreamcast. Rest in peace, my friend.

Guys, I don't care for your personal beefs with other publishers/systems. If you can't have a discussion of upcoming stuff without starting an arguement, then I'll just lock this.

 OK, sorry, I can just never let a blow to Nintendo go unanswered.

Truthfully, I'm looking forward to everything at E3 (even though I can't go). I always look forward to seeing what new ideas and stuff are introduced at E3.

Edit:
All the "Next Generation" console drama of course

lol There's always that, too. Just wait: the never-ending arguments between friends will begin again soon enough.

I guess it would be pretty cool to see what they can do but truth be told none of them interest me right now.

Would be nice to see an SRPG on the Gamecube i suppose or video footage of TES: Oblivion or...dare i say it...Shenmue 3

*Edit* Add PSU to the list :)

Here's what I'm keeping my eye on:
All Next-Gen consoles.
Vanguard (MMORPG from the original devs of Everquest)
PSP
Sega games.

Phantasy Star Monthly

Here are the three big questions on my mind for E3.

Phantasy Star Trilogy
Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst
Phantasy Star Universe

And also how well backwards compatibility will work with these consoles when doing online stuff.

nintendos a great company, but i think it should stick to the software side of things. i mean, when it comes to older gamers, nintendo loses. dont get me wrong though - i love nintendo & grew up with nintendo systems and games (zelda!!!!!). but once i hit 15 or so, it was all about computers.

I was suprised to see that Nintendo Revolution had the slickest and smallest design of all of them. Wow! I want Nintendo to rock the videogame industry! Let this be a good year for Nintendo.

I love them all. It will be hard to keep up with all of the different systems and its games. I think Im leaning more towards the ps3 than all of the other systems just by the looks.
