View Full Version : Soul Eater worries...

Well, I just did From The Depths for the 3rd time, 2nd trying to kill Kireek, and he wont show up. I ve done the quests before that where you had to fight him, and ive fount him and won 2 times, and finished the quest. Is there someting im missing? Help is greatly appreciated

During Black Paper, you need to talk to Sue outside the bank I believe to get it. I went through it with no problem, got it the first time through...also you may need to have beaten every single other quest, in case you may have missed one or two. These are suggestions, but I can't confirm these to be the answers unfortunately :(

You cant redo quests until you beat them all, so thats not a problem. Ill try seeing sure in black paper then

XD I'm sorry, but that information is incorrect. You don't have to talk to Sue in Black Paper, but you MUST talk to her in Unsealed Door. She is in Mines 2. Keep in mind though, she'll only show up IF you didn't tell her your name on Dr. Osto's Research. Can't find her? Look at the rooms near the "S-shaped" room some where in the Mines 2.

The thing with this issue though is, KIREEK showed up for Kotsuumo in both Waterfall Tears and Black Paper, which both require you having to speak to Sue twice...the third time KIREEK needs to show up, he doesn't. To my knowledge, just the previous two fights won should be the only requirements, which is why I just made that suggestion, since Sue does appear at the bank in Black Paper.

My PSO knowledge is a bit rusty...so what was the order of quests you must go through in order to get the Soul Eater again?

Edit: Never mind, I just looked on the other Soul Eater thread and found what I was looking for. :oops:

1. Do "Dr. Osto's Research." You'll meet and party with a NPC named SUE. At the end of the quest, she'll ask for your name. DO NOT tell her. Answer her question with "No, Sorry..." WARNING: You only get ONE chance to answer her question. If you answer her for the first time, you can't change your answer no matter how many times you retry the quest. Then complete the quest.

2. Do "Unsealed Door." Find SUE on Mine 2 and talk to her. Complete the quest.

3. Beat ALL solo mode quests (so you can access older ones again).

4. Do "Waterfall Tears." After you beat Anna, keep going deeper into Cave 2, and find Kireek. Fight him and beat him. Complete the quest.

5. Do "Black Paper." Find Kireek again on Cave 1, in one of dark rooms. Defeat him, then complete the quest.

6. Do "From the Depth." At the end of quest where you say good bye to ASH, go back to Ruins 2 and find Kireek. Battle him for one last time. If you win, tada! Soul Eater is yours. Be sure to have a room in your inventory to get the Soul Eater, else it may not appear in it.

The end.
