Frying Pan

Is there a Specific quest to get the frying pan? Ive heard there might be but im not sure.

There was a topic about this from long time ago, but it seems to be buried somewhere in the previous pages. So I'll just post a new one. :P

1) Go start a One Player game. Talk to the lady wearing blue behind the counter in Hunter's Guild.

2) Do "Secret Delivery" quest. Talk to a chubby male NPC near Principal's office warp. Answer both of his questions with "!!". He'll give you a badge (it's not really an item, but a flag on your character file, so don't bother looking in your inventory :P ). Complete the quest and collect your reward.

3) Complete ALL One Player mode Quests, so you can access older ones again.

4) Do "Claiming a Stake" quest. Talk to a short male NPC near Medical. Complete the quest and collect your reward.

5) Do "Gran Squall" quest. Talk to a female NPC near Shop. Complete the quest and collect your reward.

6) Do "The Value of Money" quest. Talk to male NPC near Principal's office warp. Complete the quest and collect your reward.

7) Do "Lost Bride" quest. Talk to a soldier near Shop. Complete the quest and collect your reward.

8 ) Do "Secret Delivery" quest again. Talk to the chubby NPC again. then go talk to a female NPC near shop. Tada, the pan is yours. WARNING: Be sure to have an empty slot in your inventory before you talk to her, else you may not get the frying pan! You don't have to complete the quest this time.

Note: Steps 4 ~ 7 can be done in any order.

It's more of a collector's item, rather than a practical weapon for combat.

it says you HAVE to do it in this order..

2.Value of Money
3.Gran Squall
4.Lost Bride
5.Claiming a Stake

now i get to do every single player quest on hard mode! thanks a lot :evil: :cry:

No, that's not true. You can do steps 4~7 in any order. I have done so many times in past and got my frying pan.

In "Secret Delivery", did you answer both of the phat man's question with "!!" ? Maybe you flipped through his dialogue too fast and answered one or both of his questions with "??".

Did you remember to talk to those NPCs in other 4 quests? And instead of flipping through everything by mashing a button, you should read and see what they say. If they just say what they normally say, nope, you didn't get a badge. If they actually say something about the badge you got, then you'll get a badge.

How about, did you remember to complete the quests that you meet them in? Just talking to them and leaving won't gonna save your progress.

Or did you have an empty room in your inventory??? If your inventory is maxed at 30/30, you are not going to get the pan.

And you don't have to redo this quest in Hard... This is not Soul Eater quest.

Go back to part where you think it went wrong and try again. You'll get it.

hm, lets see, i did pick "!!" both times with the fat guy..

i did goto the npc's in the other quests and when i finished talking to them i got a "Got an approval!", but one said "Got and approval?" but i guess it meant i got it, and i finished the quests after i went to them

my inv wasnt full, i remember i checked before talking to both the fat man and the boss lady and she didnt give.. but i guess i did something wrong somewhere and i cant redo it on normal, but i guess i try it again on hard

edit: i just checked them again, in gran squall i went to the lady and she gave me an approval again? but anyways im going to finish this quest and see what happens

edit edit: i got the approval again in gran squall and got my pan in secret delivery.. dunno why it didnt save my progress after i finished it o.O thanks much

do u need to complete quests to get the fryin pan for the certain quests u got to talk to people about?

uhh and does this have to be done in hard mode also??

Well, you can't do Secret Delivery before you complete Claiming the Stake, thus you have to do ALL of the solo quests, in order to re-do completed ones again.

And the frying pan quest can be done in any difficulty mode. But just do it in Normal. It's not like Soul Eater quest where if you mess up, you have to do it again on next difficulty mode.

So even if you mess up, just try again from where you left off, as I stated above.
