Alright, so i've been messing around in the garage for a few hours and haven't been able able to create a specific hound.
I'm trying to make a machine gun/nade hound on naqas. Any ideas for something with enough firepower to be effective?

Can you give me the set-up? I thought bipeds would be the best choice since you need to be able to maneuver while shooting them since you lack burst damage.

Bipeds are good, just be careful. The sniper ACV's can stop you in your tracks and the slightest splash will have you looking at the ground behind you.

scbypwner, the other day I ran like 3 or 4 1 vs 1's against you and I think you ran a machine gun/nader hybrid on bipeds. What was the set-up for that if i recall correctly?

Not me (ScbyPwr --(pronounced)--> ScoobyPower)...I will only do a 1v1 by mistake... :D
The biped mg/nader build that I recall is built like the nade stacks that are on Naqas.
Biped chassis...Nobili...Pit(C20 - C110(your choice)). six way spacer off of the nobili with your weapons arrayed to best protect the cockpit. I saw Breakfast food blow our base with that build.

Oh well now ill just say scooby power but i'm sure it was you. You ran a big splash, :):):):):):), and machine gun/nader. I checked my spreadsheet. I could have sworn it was you. I put your name down since it was someone on my friends list and you were the only on ch since i had no hidden online people.

I am sure it was not me...I have only done one 1v1 in my whole career.
I don't currently have a Big splash or mg nader in the garage at the moment. I will run cannons 80% of the time with the rest reserved for a little variety or map conditions.
You can just call me scoobs...it seems to work just fine for everyone else. It's good to see that you are having fun with this game. I would take J's suggestion and outfit a biped with a C110 and 4ARs and 4 'nades.
Cheers.

The machinegun/grenade combo is better suited for destroying bases, but I don't think it fairs as well for hound vs hound. It's obvious when you switch off of the MGs, and gives a telltale sign that you're about to make a shot with the grenades. Since ARs have a natural pause between hits, it's less predictable if you switch quickly. Depends on what you want to focus on more with the design.

I have a 6 Nade/3 MG on Naqa's in the garage, ran it a few times in a 1 vs 1.
Naqua on that put the asp-3? (cubeical) space with the 3 joint end up fromt. Behind that stick the Volta Generator horzontaly facing back and upsidedown, on to of the gen put the c110 (or 100?). Then stack 6 mushims (rotation is required to make them fit) on the spacer blocking the pit. And 3 MG's on the very top of the 6 nades. I fire 3 nades, 3 nadesm and 3 mg's.
***disclaimer **** the parts listed may in fact be incorrect  but you get the basic idea :D

I used this more as a nade "stripper" hound. Then if I ran outa amo or if the enemy was stripped, I switched to MG's. I did not hold the mg down and switch to nades.

If you're going to run m.guns & nades on inverse you should likely run it on Jamals for the added speed.
a 4x4 setup can easily run 170, much faster if you cut the fat a little bit.
Personally I like the 3 guns 4 nades on bipeds. 200 speed is pretty decent, you've got more than enough nades to strip a couple hounds and if needed you can drop a base with about 1/2 your ammo.

You serious... Mg/Nade combo on bipeds is vicious!
Use it's speed and cover to get close and suprise ur enemy. Use the nades to smash em hard. Setup up an ambush...

I think tapout has one that I've seen hime use a few times. I'll let him disclose the build if he chooses.

Well, the times I've fought that type it failed rather spectacularly, and I haven't run it myself. I'll add it to my list of things to try.

Shhh! That's a secret build. Atlas has already faced it though.
My Machinegun grenader works amazingly. Bipeds, four machine guns, four grenades, radiator, covered legs, and a c110 pit. It also has amazing turning speed and goes around 195. Works perfect in 1v1's, 2v2's, or getting a drop on somebody. If I ran a biped, this build would be the one I would run. I do run it sometimes... not very often because I prefer naqa's with ar's.

sniper/howies also work good in 1v1, specially vs this type of build.
but yeah mines got 4 mg100's 4 mushmis, c110, armor on the legs, running 168 or so....
