Alright this hound is freebattle only due to it's ten minute runtime. This hound has no name, as of yet, and has simply been dubbed "14" by myself and my squad mates (where's Anthrax when you need him?).

To build you will need:
1-Meade
1-C-Salkar
1-Kayla
14-Mushmis

To construct the hound:
1. Place the C-SalKar pit right on the chassis. Typical chipset for speed (Neumann etc...).
2. Attach the Kayla to the back of the pit then press "X" once to turn the side hard mounts vertical.
3. Place one Mushmi on top of the Kayla right side up. Next place one Mushmi to either side and low on the first, then turn them upside down. Finally place one more Mushmi to either the right or the left of one of the low mounted Mushmis (same elevation as the first) right side up. This is one bank of four, you'll need to make one more row of four on top of this one and then add two rows of three on top of that for the final count of 14.
4. Weapon settings are from the top in rows, 3, 3, 4, 4. When pulled in a calculated manner you'll be at the same pace as the "Magicmushroom" firing one bank just under every second. I snake my settings so if the first volley is right to left then the second volley is left to right and so on.

This is essentially my training wheel build for grenades. I'm not all that great with them yet and this build gives me the most chances to hit another hound. I think that the Chicken Grenade is a better build but I run this.

Only hounds you need to take at a distance is a heavy gunner or another grenade hound (treads are an easy target), for everything else you can just charge in and start shooting.

Typical open pit rules apply (stay low, stay outta sight as much as possible, keep moving, don't drive in a straight line, etc...).

Not any worse than any other hound I make. My 7 Espadon or 8 Matar builds can strip and kill this one in roughly 5 seconds (two volleys).

Killing grenadiers is one of the jobs of a heavy gunner, killing heavy gunners falls to sniper and cannon hounds, killing sniper and cannon hounds falls to grenadiers. Now there are other hounds that fit into this like missile hounds, rocket hounds, and rifle hounds but this works as a very basic jumping off point.

Rock < Paper < Scissors
Grenade < Heavy Gunner < Sniper/Cannon

Not really complex and anyone that can't grasp that simple equation, instead, choosing to complain, limit, or ban weapons doesn't really understand this game.

Every hound has a weakness.

Thanks for posting, have a happy day!

I think JSD has 12-13 on meades with hidden pit, he's run it in a war mission here and there. it's a beast.

Yeah I'd rather have a bigger, covered c-pit than a couple more grenades.

And about limiting or banning weapons, only on team unlimited or unlimited, where you wouldn't be able to use some weapons the way you do in FB as you would in the war.

And I could've sworn grenades were soldier weapons

Minor update:

Hound has finally been given a name. The hound formerly known as 14 shall henceforth be known as the Disintegrator.

why would you run 14 nades with an open pit when you can run 12 with a PROTECTED stuart pit on the same chassis

meade treads
stuart pit on the treads
2 nobili generators in the classic setup from either front joint of the pit
next place about two and a half bushels of grenades on the genny in front of your pit with the option to throw some on the side of the pit if you so desire

have fun being the reason why most hosts declare 3 or 4 nades maximum

Why would you run a hidden/large pit when your only weapon is grenades?

You see when I run this hound the only thing that is going to really mess me up are heavy guns and other grenades.

The most precious item on this hound is the grenades, not the pit. Most folk enjoy stripping a nade hound and leaving it, however, this hound is nearly impossible to strip because the C-Sal Kar and the Mushmis are very close in durability when handling splash and other grenades.

I see no need to cover the pit based on the above. I also see no need to run a larger pit.

If you are looking for a war grenader then this ain't it as the runtime is only 11 minutes which was stated in the first post.

one reason to run a medium pit: cannons
you have t remember just because you plan on not getting hit doesnt always work out
at lest you should run a pit with slightly more durability then your nades and at least have it somewhat covered so you cant be one shotted by snipers or cannons. thats just in my opinion but hey what do i know?

Considering it's a FB...who cares? It's all in good sport. Either I strip him or he kills me.

Most cannons and snipers go right for the Meade and completely ignore the open Sal Kar. Really they are only getting one or two shots before they are stripped anyway and often they are far too rattled by the fact that a grenadier is on them to worry about shooting accurately.

A shield is a far larger target to hit than a Sal Kar and since they either aim for the treads or the guns anyway what would be the point?

A howitzer would also put this up in no time, a TD can one shot it, and a DD can put it down in two. Once I lose guns it hardly matters, I'm not going to be running around grabbing coms to win a match in FB.

A Naqa grenadier is a superior build that is far easier to pilot with a much better pit, runtime, and it's a better shooting platform. I prefer driving unique/odd hounds. I run a lot of open pits (Sal Kar and Naml) and enjoy the challenge.

The dueling gentleman, because it looks like it has a powdered wig: T sak Kar legsm stuart right on the chassis, salkari medium generator on back flat, but it doesn't matter, a nade on each side of the stuart's front joints and press x twice to lower their elavation. tild the barrel upwards. add another mushmis on each side so it is higher than the first ones and going outward. add another mushmis on top of the first. Now you should have a triangle of grenades on each side. add two more muchmis, but make them fit the contour of the pit by making them higher than the last ones you put on, but goin in and not out so they are still touching the pit. then add a \nother one on top of pit. It has 9, so it can fire 3-3-3 and it looks cool.
