Maintenance for Thursday Nov 3rd 2005

Maintenance will begin around 10am GMT-78 as usual. Todays updates to include:

- The Black Gear engraving will occur today. If you have a Black Gear, it will now be branded with your unique Yahoo! Cup score.

- The 2x Droprate will come to a close at the end of the maintenance period. I hope everyone had enjoyed this increased chance at rare items.

Maintenance times should be relatively short. When the servers are ready to go I will update the thread. Please do not post asking about the servers, they will be up when they are up.

What is a " Black Gear " and what you mean by Yahoo! Unique Cup Scores?

And about the 2x Droprate...

I think it already had ended... since i used to get like 3 rares in a quest, and i barely got one this week..well it was good i suppose...

i wish we can get the 5x drop rate next time.....
like that was possible.......there are no such number of players to get that kind of quantity of kills.......but....anything is possible right?

The x2 droperate seamed like a scam to me. All I found more of was varista's. Oh well. hopefully it'll be up soon raising a chao take time you know

Black Gear is a shield that you could win during the Yahoo Max Attack 2 Cup. And the score that is engraved on the shield will be the score you received from participating in the Yahoo Cup, basically how you ranked in the number of enemies killed.

well i found pleanty of yamatos and musashis during the 2x drop rate and some elysions and inferno bazookas which all went to friends and for team points.
i think its gonna be a bit harder for my team to get team points now that 2x drop rate is over.

Same with me, I"ve played this game to death since the day they supposed to have activated 2x drop rate and I've yet to find anything good rare wise other than a couple of useless flowen swords. >< I hope I find a hallo rappy with a rare mag cell at least before those go away, but it seems I'm gonna be out of luck on that one too as I've yet to find a hallo rappy at all too.

As for the section id, I thought Skyly's one of the good ids to get as a HUcast though?! Boy was I wrong even if it was supposed to be true. >_<

I'm tempted in trying to find someone that I can trust to help me transfer and make a whole new Hucast with a different section ID, but no one I know IRL plays this game so pretty hard for me to find someone that I can really trust. :(

You can have more than one of each type of cake as long as the fillings and toppings are different. For example, you can have all chocolate cakes as long as the topping and filling combinations differ.

they have to be 8 different cakes.
i got doubles of my own from doing it multiple times.
i just traded my extras for other peoples cakes.

Everyone had access to the 2x drop rate. It is important to remember that while your chances increased, you are not guaranteed to receive more rares. Drops are still a random affair, it's just that your chances got better :).
