Ran this with Cortana today, was great fun. Finishing time was 2'05"54 but we made a LOT of errors, for example having HU as route 1 which is I think is totally wrong in 2-player because of the first lower-seabed level. I think 1'30" would be a good goal to set for the time being. Anyway, screenies here:

Had some good weapon drops including an early Lockgun with like 80 dark and 30-40 hit. I used that pretty much throughout and on Flow, and grinded Blades with high Machine and Dark for when form 1 got close, and to take out form 2. Used right-foot trickery and wore Cortana's FO mag +1 dex level to photon blast (twins) which was effectively 2 free scapes vs HP, as we lost about 5 during the run. Turned out I didn't really need them as I had one scape allotted for the battle and had to use pb getout once only, so I woulda been okay without - but with only 1 scape it seemed like a much safer plan.

Whoa, you pulled it off? :shock:
Kamica and I tried it one day; got as far as area 26 until we got to the room with two Sinow Zeles; with no TP and no traps left at that point we didn't fare well. :( There were only three rooms left, too. :roll:

Yo charlie, we should do this again after I learn to squid glitch. Man I went thru those fluids quick in seabed lower. Got boring regeneating Tp to kill stuff. :? This run makes me want to do ep1 c9 with 2 hucast now. :)

Nice to see that there are others who enjoy 2p cmode. ;)
I've done many 2p runs for E2C4, but only succeded once.
Well, that's mostly due to our charachter choice that have been:
either Huct, Hucsl, or Hucsl, Hucsl... getting to flow is no problem, and can be done under 1h. but due to lack of mates during the fight, we always failed at 2nd form.
Then we just wanted to clear it once, so I picked my Fonewm (Kalle), and my friend was Hucast (C-CronoLink). We didn't go full out, even tho I TP died at least 3 times before flow. Anyways, clear time was: 1'31'xx. I can look up the exact time later if you're interested. So aiming for 1'30'xx is a good target for starters if you want something to challenge with. ;)

Well, Charlie and I managed to duo E2C4 again today, with his FOney and my HUcaseal. :D Took us a few tries to get out of the first couple areas without deaths, and even then we lost scapes to Delbiters' h4x reach through doors and up ramps. :x

Our total clear time was about 1h48m; wasn't too stressed for fluids or mates but quite a few times I was really wanting more traps. :roll:

A really nice time guys, ^ ^;
Mates is never really a problem on that stage as long as you got a FO on the boss fight, but Fluids is a big problem tho. If you want to speed things up, I suggest that you should spam more and sacrifice a few dolls before boss. That's if the Hu knows what to do on the bossfight of course. In our run when I was Fonewn, I had 7 of the 8 scapes in total... xD

Yup! 1'48"01 - here's another screenshot:

FO starting route 1 seemed much better. Seriya took out both forms of flow with a high-dark Railgun with a secondary attribute, I just s/z/r'd and nuked with foie on form 1.
Agree with Rubicon - fluids are a pain, very often I wanted to let rip with techs to gain some time but rarely could. With more practice I would like to tpdie a bunch of times. Wondering if FOnewmn is actually a superior FO when playing 2p as they're less fragile, the resta range boost is less relevant with only 1 person to look after and it makes your Gifoie a lot better. Foie boost alone is also very good though...
Trap management is clearly very important, I don't think Seriya has depth rooms down pat yet (but then neither do I ;) ) but I'm sure that if you freeze at the right time every time you can clear Depths far more quickly and safely than we did. And as always with c4 drops matter a lot - good weapons and rafoie early make a big difference I think.

I prefer FOnewn due to the HP issue for early Sinows... And I also lub fighting bare handed. ^ ^;
But you may be right, I haven't really tried that many combinations on 2P C4.
But I feel somehow that Hucsl & Humar might be the optimal team, if you get/can use a resta over lvl 3 that is.

Del and I tried this last night and came very close. We were at 1:18 and right at the very end of the second form of Flow when I ran out of scapes.
Del played Hucast and I played Fonewm. I took player 1 route and that seemed to work out pretty good.
Fluids were a problem. I ran out too early and entered the boss fight with only one fluid left and two scapes. We still were okay, but confuse traps ate up my last two scapes and even trying to be careful, I still got hit by HP a third time which finished our run.
Another try or two and with a bit more luck finding fluids and/or fluid conservation and we can achieve 1:15 or better on this.

Did you guys try the Squid trick? When we played Friso was 1p and did it, (he's a far more better player than I am, even tho he can't admit it himself <3). Anyways if you're trying to TA this stage 2p, I feel that it's necessary cause it saves a lot of time.
