Alright, i'me finding it hard some of the gossip going around the forums about psu specificly haveing trouble makeing it's way to the xbox 360, so let's be clear about something lol because this is silly.

PSU is going to be one of the most complete mmo's, i'me feeling that, phantasy star online is great, i love the fact you can really tuck into some action anytime.
PSU has vastly grown up with huge customization to your charectors, a vast amount of weapons and skills, and ultimatly the ability to ride vehicals, that just brings a tear to my eyes.

it is'nt just that, PSU will be an amzeing experiance, call me stupid if i get a little over the top in this post, thats because out of all the mmo's out there PSU is the only game i want to be playing right now, it will be huuuuuge.

Now i thought psu would be cross connected, sega wont lose out if they dont do this because there are a vast amount of phantasy star saga enthusiasts, fans etc out there and they could be owners of the 360 , but final fantasy is on the 360 and as far as i know playonline is still happy with xbox 360 gamers and the BETA it did for the 360 was huge, the xbox 360 is going to be a gameing front for mmo's surely, anyone heard of HUXLEY :O

enough said, there should'nt be any complications, but no matter what your console when playing this enjoy it.

No, there shouldn't be any complications if they were all cross connected. I suspect that its usual microsoft nonsense in thinking they are special and they want the 360 by itself. Yea, I think it would be cool if everyone was interconnected, but no use crying over spilled milk. Though I still feel sorry for those who are having to pick and choose because some of their friends are going with the 360 OR PS2/PC version. I just wanted to highlight the OR just to prevent confusion. I could be talking out my rear end about the whole microsoft thing, so feel free to prove me wrong.[/u][/b]

i dont think its a m$ thing, i think its a sega being lazy thing. FFXI on 360 is connected with the pc and ps2 versions. they dont have to pay for an XBL account either, its just the normal FFXI fee. im guessing that sega's just being lazy and they dont want to bother doing all of the online legwork on 360 when they have a cheap way out.

Don't people who are going to play PSU on the 360 have to get a gold account (the one you have to pay for)? And if so, do you have to pay for a hunter's licence too? If you have to get both, that's a huge rip off. *NOTE* I don't have a 360 so I'm not sure about that info, please enlighten me if I am mistaken. I hope sega isn't being lazy and there is some other reason for it, I just think it really sucks that people have to choose either ps2/pc or 360.

So far what I've heard is that PSU will require the gold membership, but no additional fee ontop of it and you're absolutely right, if 360 users have to pay ontop of the live fee, thats the one thing that will make me re-consider getting it on the 360. Cos', No way.

It seems the 360 connection to the other two platforms isen't confirmed yet anyway, but if the 360 is on voice communication and PC/PS2 on keys, there's a complication.

They haven't specified wether psu will need a gold/silver membership, also there definetly will be a monthly charge for psu online on the 360 if there's a charge on the ps2/pc version
Also I'm saying ff11 doesn't need a gold account so why should PSU?
Not that I'm bothered as I have one :P and they're well worth getting.

As much as I see what you are saying, PSU isen't ff11, they are bound to try new things on the next gen consoles as far as subscriptions and all that jazz go. So all I'm saying is don't rule it out.

I'd say it is extremely likely if not deffinate that if 360 links with PC/PS2 then there will be an extra fee ontop of whatever live membership you may or may not have. But I would seriously doubt that if it is segregated you would have to pay an additional fee, It's my opinion it will run on the xbox360 gold live membership if it is the case. *hopes it is*

opinion not fact, and since you haven't played psu you don't know

The character custimization you see is an illusion. Ultimately there are very few diference between characters from what we kno3w, appearances and stats. All these weapons and skills you speak...we don't know much about any of them. Vehicles are said to be cuystomizable but we have only see one reference to this.
Where did you get "updates over 7 years" unless you are on ST you don't know anything about the updates besides supposedly there will be a new mission/quest at least every week.

On the real topic of what your saying... why don't you find one of those petitions that are beimngsent to ST to get 360 connected. It hasn't been finalized if 360 will be seperate or not and if you were up on your info like you think you are you'd know that

After the behavior I've seen from most X-Box 360 folks in my FFXI experience, I'm GLAD they will be seperate. :)
