Maintenance for May 25, 2006

Today's maintenance will remove the 2x Experience and 2x drop rate bonuses for Episode IV and Episode II. I hope everyone had a good time, and earned a few levels in the process :).

The maintenance should be pretty short, I will update this thread with more information as needed.

In the meantime, feel free to post your experiences, good or bad, about the 2x changes in the past week :).

I've been hunting yasha off and on since october. I did nothing but 5-2 runs this week and found 30 Justys, and got PDed by Indi Belra 8 times. :cry: What a waste of a week, oh well.

I think the 2x week was insanely cool. Although I had a tough time choosing to level or hunt Episode 2 rares lol. It worked out great because we did EN4 and EN3 and died a bunch of times then went and got back all the exp loss with Episode 4 lol. But mostly I made Episode 4 my home this last week.

About 17.5 mil exp. 186 -> almost 195. Summer classes cut in, but no problem. I'll probably hit that today then go back to barely EVER leveling. If I cared anywhere near as much the whole time I'd be 200 last year. >_>

It was nice though to see so many people on hyp2 "after hours". Lots of people came out of the shadows to play. It's good meeting some new people.

wanted 4 items from ep 2 and got 3 of them : yas9km, kamui and Gi gue bazooka. I fave up about panzer faust when I learned its RAcast/caseal only :P

Was a great experience I gained about 11 levels saw many players that have been absent from BB for a while it's a shame though as they probably won't be around because the x2 patches are now gone. Truly one of the greatest events Clumsy has ever thought of personally, I say do it again it was awesome never seen the lobbies so full. GIB us more Clumsy.

yep me being one, this game just ain't as fun as back a few months. Also very unlikely the servers will be made free anytime soon if at all, it'll be years before that happens. But it's really not worth the fee anymore and i'm unfortunately not rich :( lol

I joined for my first time on the 18th. I didn't get to play until the 19th due to connection issues, but alas, the time i have spent so far on PSOBB I leveled up to lvl39 in three days, and found 6 rares without Episode II. I never really played Episode II, come to think of it... I guess they aren't really considered rares compared to the other findings listed here, since I found them in Normal and Hard mode, but I'm happy with it. Bring it back sometime, I'd love to reach level 100!

Honestly, the level grind from 140 up is annoyingly hard..I think the 2x EXP balances it out a bit, so for some people who dont play 24/7 (Like me.) it would be possible for them to have a Lv200. I know at this rate I will never have one, I've raised like 7 or 8 different Lv100+ characters and ended up writing over them except for two. >_> Too bad we cant keep 2x EXP.

I got nothing special from EP2 (Not even a single rare) and when i did, it was called for : Yami, Tripolic Shield don't think i get them ever again lol.

In EP4 i got from lvl 193 to 200!! and Watching loads of people getting higher and higher. Barely done anything on my HUcast :( Wished i did, also i wanted to hunt more rares in EP2 but by that time i didn't have any time...

Congratz on everyone who found what they wanted like sjs and 2 Madams parasol nice one :wink: .
