I was having the problem where everytime I tried to play the single player game the game locked up solid and I had to turn off my 360.
What I did to clear it up.
I played all the other 360 Games I own then headed back into Chromehounds and the game is no longer freezing.
I do not know if this is the cure or if it will clear it up for everyone but its worth a try.
I played a total of 8 360 games. For about 2 Minutes each. I made sure to load every game up and get right into a game not just access the menus.
Things that I do on my system that might be different for then the general public. I'm running Windows Media Connect on my computer so I can stream my MP3s to my 360 for a custom sound track, because of this I am access the 360s Dashboard often opening and closing.
The reason I thought to try this is I also own NHL 2K6 which was known for freezing often. Rumor was that if you accessed the dashboard when the game was trying to access the hard drive something would get corrupt and the game would freeze after every game and would become unplayable. The same trick worked for me with that game and cleared up the problem and I was extra careful not to access the Dashboard while playing the game and if I did I tried to make sure the game was not doing anything and the problem did not happen again.
I'm not saying this is the end all cure to it but its worth a shot. Good Luck all.
