Getting Online With PSO PC

1.) Download links posted in above post.

3.) After downloaded unzip the files into the folder (It'll pre-make one for you)
4.) First thing you wan't to click for an icon under that folder is: Pso.REG
5.) After you've done that double click the Orange offline online patch.
6.) Drop and drag that patch into Options.DOS It's in the folder)
7.) Double click Options.BAT and configure your options that fit you.
8.) After that click "Exit."
9.) Now it'll bring you up to a Black/Blue Screen labled "Phantasy Star Online"
10.) Select the option Online."
11.) After this it may ask you to configure your ISP settings if so follow step 12.

A: Slowdowns are called as "Lags". These little interruptions on
the signal is mostly present on 56K connections (Modem). Try
these steps before considering another ISP:
-Check the cable longitude. If it's too large (25 ft or more)
try changing it for a shorter one.
-Check the time. If you're connected on the night, there are a
lot of people playing, so you'll have to be patient.
-Free ISP?. Free ISPs are usually slower and more prominent to
a "surprise" disconnection.
-Try using another phone line on a friend's house.
-Consider buying a $30 to $60 Broadband Access...

- You don't need the BGM sound, it's just background of music and such, you can still hear sound effects with just PSO Full Version.

Online wise, you need the KORT Login, any more questions on where to get it and such, either read the FAQ or join my forums and I'll reply.

KORT login is what used to get online for free, as I mentioned in the first post of this topic, everything is free, jesus.

Here's the download KORT Login, download it, and click "PSO Full Login," leave the application running and then start offline.online patch (it's orange) click okay, click Online Mode, and wam.

That's the demo version though, I don't believe it supported the keyboard at the time.

Also if you use the keyboard, make sure to take off "Num Lock," and then use the arrow keys to move, instead of typing all the numbers.

If you're new to the game, I'd suggest playing online and learning from them, on how to beat the dragon and such at a early stage. Keep leveling up till your about level 5 or 6.

What is a 2 Megabyte MP3, might be a 40 Megabyte WAV (example is when i converted the Red Alert 2 Hell March song to WAV so i could use it in Ghost Recon rather then its original music, which i had gotten sick of after 3 years of use)

They're the ones that also put the new server on for Dreamcast, read more there to learn how to connect your Dreamcast back up.

They can be compressed down to 35 MB which I'm not doing. It's sound files and MUSIC files, as of all the levels and all entrance. A regular sound thats three minutes long is around 5MB itself.

Why do I need to double-click this? You didn't really explain what to do once the patch program launches (with the exception of below). Nonetheless, it doesn't make sense here.

Get the KOTRT login, click the full login button
Open the options change the connection type to your type
Open the orange patch button
click online and it should be a-go

Nah…I think it was because I changed the name of the main game directory, from Phantasy Star Online to PSO. Don't know why it'd matter, unless it uses absolute file paths for some of the sounds. Anyway, I already had the music installed, and yes, it's awesome music.

Just one question: How the Hell do you create items in PSO? I've seen other people do it, and one of them mentioned a program that you can use. Where can I get this program?

It should be an icon with blue little blocks around it, but icon is white. Also just right click and select properties to find out more info on what icon you're choosing.
