As the Saturn's end eventually came closer to being a reality :cry: , who bought any Japanese imort games? Reply with which ones. :lol: And anyone get a Ram Cart too?

Xmas Nights isn't a particularly rare game, you'd be gaurenteed to find a copy on ebay if you looked right now.

Back in 96, the demo came free with a gameplayers subscription.
It was also a gift from sega for registered saturn owners.

Software etc(now better known as gamestop) sold copies for 5 dollars as well.

I wonder why it was easier to get an Import rare game for an Obscure system than a Domestic game for the World's Best Selling, Most Popular System.

If you are asking if it is a good game then, in my opinion, yes it is. It is similar to Snatcher but much better in all areas of the game. Kojima Hideo games are my favorite so I might be bias in my answer to your question.

Well, I'll trust there is a reason for them being your favorite and purchase the game the next chance I have. It looks awesome! But how is the language barrier? I do know some Japanese...

I think, almost anyone can get to the ending of this game with very little knowledge of the japanese language. However, the more japanese you know the more you will enjoy this game. Scientific japanese vocabulary is a real big plus for this game, too.

Note: Make sure you get the instruction manual to this game. It has a kamon hyou (family crest list). The list will be of help later in the game.

The Saturn had some nasty imports for it.

My first import for any system was on that console. It was X-Men vs Street Fighter. And that game was off the fuc*in hook. It came with the 4MB cartridge and I bought an ST Key to go with it. It was love. I had a hard time with the swapping of the ST Key and the 4MB cartridge at first. But one night I got it right and from then on out, it was on and poppin! The PS just couldn't handle it.

By the way. The cats at Sega are geniuses for thinkin of that cartridge slot. It made the PS look outdated.

Anyways, I couldn't stay away from Japanese games after that. I copped Metal Slug, Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers 3 for the domestic heads. That game didn't even drop on the console here.), Pocket Fighter. I think I have sommore. But I can't remember. That system is still hooked up though. I mean, it had some of the illest games ever on that system. Burning Rangers was ill and it got slept on for real.

Let me stop babblin. I could talk about that system for days.
