And I thought the story was horrible, I thought there wasn't enough speed, and that the writing was horrible. I mean, I'd honestly have SPEED levels restricted to 7 fully fast levels (SA2) rather than having all levels using hardly any speed at all.

TOTALLY, Dissapointed with the storyline. And the fact they didn't explain Shadow all to well. Infact who ever thought up Shadow's plot on Sonic Heroes should be shot.

But yeah, its good.

I have only played a little of Team Dark's story. Its ok. I agree the controls are a bit confusing, not sure if it was b/c I played the XBOX version. Overall, its seems that its not that long, still gonna get it though. Prolly fer GCN.

i really enjoyed sonic heroes, i prefer it to sa2 (but not sa)

and if you thought the story was disappointing (because it was dense), good. sonic adventure 2 should have really watched its step with that attrocity of a story line.

i voted "great", i thought it gave a great challenge and had a very well executed concept.

i would have given it a 'great' but i keep falling off of platforms, missing rails, picky things like that.
i think they should have fixed it so the player can drop down and hang onto the edge when they go over...

Actually, the tails in SA and SA2 did go through puberty, but when he did, they got a new voice actor. So a NEW PERSON is voicing Tails in Sonic Heroes, and this new person sounds like he's 8 years old.

It wasn't great. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was great, to me, anyway. And it didn't suck, so guess that means it was good.

I actually kinda find the controls fun... a little time to get used to, but after that, it's fun.

anyway, I chose good, cuz Sonic Heroes has a lame storyline, not enough stages, (Though i will say, they are a good size) and repeating the stages with other teams. plus, I think the music is trash. What happened to the old Guitar riffs that were in SA and SA2? Those were great tunes. now they are uncomman in Heroes. that lost my interest in the music. thats why i gave it a good not great.

Yes, I thought the last boss was great, kinda unque way of doing it. But the music was crap, needs to be though over more... although the main theme is catchy.

I thought the last story was completely cliche. It was bordering on parody. When Metal Sonic was expanding, the 30 second cutscene that took place, with the over-dramatic music, with him standing above everyone else, etc. etc. etc, it seemed to parody monster movies from the 80's, something, I'm sure, was not Sonic Team's intention.

I kind of found it overdramatic. I mean, it wasn't even good story, just an extended FMV. But anyway, nothing was explained; (SPOILERS!) Why was Metal Sonic back? Did Robotnik bring him back, or did he just lock Robotnik up?.....?) (END SPOILERS)

Nothing was explained! NOTHING. He was just there as a homage to old games in the series. The fact was, yes, the end of the game featured a full cutscene, but it was still dumb, because it was shorter than even the standard cutscene from Sonic Adventure, and the ending was nowhere near as cool or emotional as Sonic Adventure 2's.

The fact was, Sonic Heroes was a half-assed effort, and seriously, was designed as a spinoff of the series, ("it's own series," as said by the serie's director) yet marketed as a real sequel by Sega, it dissapointed me. I can't wait for STORY DRIVEN Sonic Adventure 3 (when/if it is released)

I don't think it was Tails, though. I think it was either Cream, or Charmy. Because in the Sonic Adventure games, Tails's voice was listed second, and in Sonic Heroes, I can assume it also was, and it was not the voice of Boots from Dora.

But Cream or Charmy, yeah, it might be.

If your only going to have 14 stages, might as well just have 2 teams then.

Granted they did offer an "easy" mode, but, it's a little too easy.
Team chaotix...come on, sonic team of all people should know that players don't like escavation missions...

I thought it was the BEST 3D SONIC yet!!!! Yeah it isn't perfect, but it's still a big step up from the previous 2 Sonic Adventure games. BEST PART OF THE GAME. Being able to play with a MUCH FASTER Sonic compared to his previous 2 Adventure incarnations. And I think, that's would make the next Sonic game even better. MORE HYPER fast Sonic, and less of just about everone else. 8)

I actually liked Team Chaotix 2nd best, though, because their gameplay actually offered some variety.

I only played the demo but I really liked it. Though i am speaking for the GC version. I guess the Xbox and Ps2 (especially the PS2 version) are really poopie-ish so I can't speak for those two.
