Hypocrisy, ignorance, arrogance, and biast!

Hypocrisy, ignorance, arrogance, and biast. These words alone describe a fanboy. Not a fan, but a fanboy. Everyday, no matter what forums I go to, I see fanboys. Everywhere. In case you have no idea what I am talking about, let me give you a quote from a paticular thread:

Gamecube is a kiddy console. It has no good games. It doesn't have a DVD player or anything. It blows!!!!!

Hmm.....I bet it sounds famillar, doesn't it. I bet every single Nintendo fanboy would hate to see that kind of commet. Too bad their no different. Here's a another quote:

The Xbox has no good games, it has nothing but mature rated games on it. It has no RPG's or anything! It's big and the controller is SO big!! It blows!!

Now, when a Xbox Fanboy sees that, how do you think they feel. I bet no different then you. I promise. Funny how they like to flame another console but yet they can't even take the blows on their own turf.

Now, since I'm done flaming both parties here I'd figured it's time to tell you, the fanboys, a little lesson. All consoles have excellent games on it. Peorid! There's no question about it. A true gamer would play and judge all consoles equally. Believe it or not, but they have more fun then the fanboys do. They play all consoles, and enjoy all the games that the systems have to offer. That, and they don't need to worry about what game appears on what console, they just play it and enjoy it.

Remember, it's fine to be a fan of a company. There's nothing wrong with it. Just don't be a blind fanboy. Fanboys are the ones who miss out on the 'fun' of gaming. Fans don't.

I agree too... its fine to love mario but not fine to bash xbox exclusives just because your gc cant have them. and its fine to luv your dvd player on your xblock or ps2 but not fine to bash gc for not havin one. you made a great point

these "uptight" people is the main reason why there are "fanboys" to rile and annoy them up. Relax, if you "uptights" truly believe in what you're saying then fanboys shouldnt affect you. i have owned all 3 platforms at one time, so i know my stuff. Plus, i cant find anything wrong with the xbox. Hell, its the only one that produces movie theatre quality sound through my setup speakers and whats wrong with M-rated games? I love shooters and the only everyone rated game ill ever buy will be racing games. The rest? M and T.

Yeah, you make a great point. You should play and try out each and every platform, thereby knowing which you could like the most. And as you said, it's OK to be a fan towards a company, but don't go blasting about them, especially when the blasting is about something that isn't as good to begin with. Ye shallith noth be a damnith fanboy. Anyways, good points. Lets hope those fanboys can learn a lesson or two.

If you hate a system, keep it to yourself. Personally, i like all systems (i used to own every one), But im sticking with nintendo since i pretty much grew up with them, but because i like them, do you see me posting all over saying how xbox suxs or ps2 suxs?

Well labelling all fanboys as flamers is wrong. I do love Sega, but I don't go bashing systems that aren't Sega. SNES is great, as are many other non-Sega systems I'm far too lazy to post.

Actually the game industry is very geared toward PC gaming; the only reason we don't discuss it is because Sega doesn't cash in on this gold-mine often enough.

And the last anti-fanboy wasn't preaching anything. In fact the most you could say he was preaching was Nintendo which is his own personal opinion.
