This is the entertainment section of the boards and I think music classifies as entertainment. Anyways as for Linkin Park I used to be a huge fan until i found out that they were a production band. They still sound good but I just cant give them the respect because they didnt make the music.

Linkin Park is my second favorite band. I like Numb, In the End, Points of Authority, Crawling, Faint, and Somewhere I Belong the best :D Of course, I have to say P.O.D. is better (sig)...

LP is overrated as hell, and I WAS a fan during the Hybrid Theory years. I find too many faults with thier style of music.

Oh my bad man. Well even though i cant respect them for being a production band i think their best work is Papercut, and Faint. Plus some of the old Hybrid Theory stuff is good.

Hybrid Theory was cool.

now i just dont like [LP] i like their old stuff, the orignial paperkut, one step closer, ya know, all that and a box of chocolates.

I like Linkin Park. I'm not really a huge fan, but their songs are good. I think the problem is that all of them are about angry teenagers, which can get kind of repetative, but otherwise, a good group. They just need to kind of expand the variety of what they sing about.

Cant say i like Linkin Park that much. Everytime theyre on the radio i change the station, but i will say that i do enjoy My December.

linkin park's music are really catchy, and even a true hip hop fan admit that they like it. For example, my older brother, he dislike rock of any kind, and he is a true hip hop fan since the NWA days, but he manage to settle to listen to linkin park in the car. That's realy odd.

I like linkin park because Mostly I can relate to a lot of what they are talking about.

Needless to say most music today other wise doesn't come close.
Most music nowadays is about immaturity and singing/rapping about immature things. Guys who are a bunch of crybabies about how they lost their girlfriends. A bunch of blonde haired girls that consider themselfs crazy, and are looking for the right guy, and rappers who just talk about defiling women and hitting strip joints.

Granted, Linkin park is a bit over rated, but I do releate to alot of their songs.

And when it comes to nu-metal, nobody does it better then them.
Only they can pull off a fusion of bothe rap and rock, when others just go off into rap rock, which many would agree sucks.

the funniest part is that linkin park is in their 20's and making money off of teenagers with anxiety :wink:
