PS2 users and PC users will be sharing servers, so they'll be able to play with each other. Xbox 360 users will have to be on their own servers; we tried to make it really easy for Xbox 360 users by having everything available through Marketplace, but in order to do that, we were unable to allow cross-platform play with PC and PS2.

Xbox 360 users would be sharing the server with the japanese and eu players i would think. I might be wrong about that.

Infact the US NTSC version of PSU is region free but for most users it now makes no difference as PSU is now available in Europe, and soon in Australia.

Indeed - I have a US copy. It's possibly worth buying a US one anyway as a protest vote against staggered releases ;-)

That's odd. My friend bought a US copy, and it would'nt play on his Japanese 360 (invalid region error). He had to borrow someone elses just to play it.

Yes its region free for PAL but not NTSC-JP. For reasons unknown. Sorry I should of stated this but I personlly thought it would be unlikely someone with a JP console would want to import an English game but this corrects me :)
