It blinks 3 lights, around the big power on button.... They are 3 red lights...

So it's suppoed to blink, and not show a picture on the TV screeen?!?!

I could... But I'd have to lug this big thing around with me. It weighs quite a bit. Bet I could use it as a sludge hammer.

Ehh, sledge-hammers derive a lot of their power from the fact that the weight is focused on the head, if you were using a large box-like object it wouldn't work so well...
