View Full Version : We must have Shenmue III!

It is time for gamers to unite and demand that Sega make Shenmue III. We cannot allow them to leave us hanging with the ending from Shenmue II. Even though the first two games were not extraordinarily profitable, if enough gamers come forward and state that, if Shenmue III is made, they will buy it, then we can perhaps make a difference in the world of gaming.

They wouldnt be dumb enough to do that.

I hope they come through with a Shenmue 3. Its 1 of the best game series ever i think. Yu suzuki, its your right to finish the series.

I hope it comes out.

But you have to take into consideration shenmue wasn't popular, and because of dreamcast's death, a us port of shenmue2 came out nearly a yeear later and had poor sales...

With all things considered, sega may not be totally interested continuing the series.

i thought they already were gonna release it...cuz i remember hearing about it being on xbox about a year or so ago...o well...i never got 2 play shenmue much so i never understood it much...

There were rumors that it was in development, then it wasnt. Then they needed feedback, then they needed money. I lost track of the things thats been said, but its not official.

It was planned for release but it was then delayed until further notice. Now, the operation is being run by someone other than Yu Suzuki and a new system is being set up for the game. It should be announced, eventually...:?

no is not a possible awnser. this is a episodes serie , the story is not completelly revealed , there must be a 3.

Actually, Suzuki brought back all the rights to the Shenmue series. What's out of his control now is Virtua Fighter Quest.

I want the series to finish when Ryo takes on Lan Di. And if they can show Ryo gettin' freaky with Shenhua while I'll get uber freaky with Nozomi!

I loved Shenmue1 for Dreamcast, which is still the ultimate system. I never got to play shenmue 2, if they made a port of it for PS2 than I would have got it though, if they make a Shenmue 3, they should make it for all 3 systems, but what I really want is for SEGA to give one last shot to the consoles, it could compete with PS3.

and they NEEEDDD to finish the series so i can keep saine!

I can remember when Shenmue 1 came out.
I dont think i had ever been so excited about anything in my life.

When I got it they hadnt even put it on the shelf..they were just puting it up and I grabed one out of the cart!

When I started playing it took me about halk an hour to step out of his room i had to look every were .. TWICE >_<

THE DETAIL AMAZING DOWN TO HIS VAINS .. its so freakin cool!!

Ah good ol' Shenmue :) I remember when I first got it, I played for 14 hours straight. Looks really nice with a VGA box.
