I cant take this anymore, I'm getting GC and PSO

I must return, but I dont know if I should go w/ XBL or PSO? grr, both? I can definatly live in poverty at this age, I already am living in poverty.

Here's my pros and cons about PSO on GC and Xbox:

GameCube Pros:

-probably a larger fanbase, more DC players from the original
-more quests since it's been out longer

GameCube Cons:

-the ONLY game besides Episode 3 that can go online with your GC
-finding a modem is really hard unless you go online and look for it
-character corruption problems (from what I've heard anyway)
-have to buy plus version to get patches for the game

Xbox Pros:

-way more games to play online
-the monthly fee is only $45, the starter kit costs $80 but comes with the headset and Mechassault
-no keyboard required to talk, yay!
-downloadable patches to fix hacking online (not offline though)

Xbox Cons:

-expect everyone to stop playing this game when TFLO comes out, hopefully they'll release another PSO around the same time
-have to wait longer for new quests
-annoying kids in lobbys (just mute em)
-Al Rappy units that raise ATP by like 300 each!

My vote is for the Xbox version, the only problem I've seen is that annoying FSOD but that pops up in like every version of this game lol and the Al Rappys they're only annoying in Normal-Very Hard not too big of a deal in Ultimate. Mute anyone whose screaming with voice masking on and send feedback, they'll get banned for up to a few months for being annoying pr!cks, the good thing is that there's no save corruption issues I've never heard of anything like that, none of that double save garbage. Multiplayer doesn't look any better though, if you want to play with friends get a router and plug multiple systems together. That's what I do :)

More for ur buck man, go for the xbox version. The only advantages to the Gc version is playing with the japanese and the option for 56k (if u consider that an advantage).

Everything else speaks for itself.

Go with the GC version.
I played the xbox version for the 2 free months and noticed a lot more hacking on the xbox version than on the GC version. On the xbox version, there's garanteed to be someone who is either - A 10 year old kid, a mexican (nothing wrong with mexicans, just cant stand the accent) some deep voiced guy who mutters, someone who doest talk at all, or someone who sucks at the game.

Now on the GC version, mainly everyone is nice. And plus, duping is much easier. So if you like to dupe items and help people out (I know I do) and not have to worry about annoying voices, I'd go with the GC. The xbox has slilghtly higher loading speeds, but you'd only notice it if you compared the 2 simeltaniously.

Basically it all comes down to preference, but if you already have an XBox, go for the Xbox ver. You need live to play even offline, but I'm sure you are willing to buy live since Xbox sucks :):):) without it.

Well, they've tried.
MS released a patch that stopped the shop dupe. So that put a stop to more than half the dupers. Sadly, I never knew how to dupe before they fixed it!

i say gamecube cause i wouldnt like the whole language barrier thing on pso cause on GC, it translates it 4 u.

It only translates the Automatic text (I don't know what its called). When I'm playin on the JP servers, they never use it. So all I see is a bunch of funny lookin squiggles.

Well, I can assure you, the ratio to freaks to normal people is probobly 1:100
and thats on a bad day.. But there are some (one) weird people on that game. Theres one dude simply named 'dancer' who just dances all day in the lobby.

im a nice freak... the worst i might do to someone is yell at someone then ignore them because theyre annoying me...
actually, the worst ive ever done is accidently lag a lobby. i only have dial-up, and i knocked the phone off the hook one day while trying to close the window... after the lag ended, i got booted for like an hour. luckily i was the only one who got booted... i wouldnt of liked having 20 angry ppl chasing me for my head...
