Ok. Story:

Went to thrift store in search of the great prize of nerds world wide: Old computers and games.

What did I find and stick on ebay?

3 hours later the dumb thing sold. Insane. Its a toy dog. I paid 99 cents for it. Holy crap.

and that is why Ebay rocks. People will pay crazy amounts of money for some things. Such as old stamps and coins. Who knew a penny could be worth $100k (at my work, someone found a penny worth that much when cleaning out a storage unit, they never came back)

pfft, I cant believe that I can find / buy Final Fantasy 7 for the PS for under 15 dollars everywhere. (GH and non-GH versions)


Then you sell them on evilbay for 50 - 100 dollars. Rinse and repeat :wink:

Big money in old NES Nintendo games as well, if you know what you are looking for :twisted:

I go there all the time to find underpriced vintage games and records.

salvation is england second hand shop i dont know if america or the rest of the world has salvation army shops.

reading this makes me wanna go to my local salvation army lol to try and find valuble stuff xD

Salvation Army, Elly, is a second hand store. Thrift shop, junk store. Place where you donate crap and they sell it for dirt cheap. :) Ive found so many rare things, like my 1980s Smurf TV Tray and a Speak n' Spell.
