In the Draft, after each season, if you go to Edit Player just before you draft a player, you can change the players ratings without making their salery go up. This works even better on late round draft picks, as they are usualy signed for a lot less than first, or second round picks. :mrgreen:

They have a big FAQ at gamefaqs.com about it. Stuff like keep your points low and sign them for no money then boost all there stats and trade 3 or 4 guys for a randy moss type. You can pretty much get every all pro player in the league that way....
