getting the same problem, server wont let me connect /cry. says the server issued an interrupt request every time i try to log on

i get to the AWAITING RESPONSE FROM SERVER screen
the the Fart sound.....could not connect to PSU server.
Im in New Jersey-USA.

Well, again, the servers are down every Thursday (HA-HA. Fooled'ja, didn't they?) from 7-P.M. to 10 P.M. 7-GMT.

If your gonna post about maitenance get it right. 5pm-10pm gmt-7 every thursday and they didnt go down for maintenance today. pLaying right now.

Try changing your primary DNS to 4.2.2.1 and your secondary to 4.2.2.2 on your xbox. Go to the last tab on your dash (settings or somesuch) and to network. Make sure you hit Test Xbox Live afterwords (it'll prompt you to) and let it run fully, then try. Should work.

Don't think the game is out in the UK yet.. I downloaded the demo from Xbox Marketplace, maybe that's why? :o

No, I was stating that I felt we were getting fooled, as of MID-NIGHT, and it was, where I am. Heh, besides, that was the wrong message... This was the correct one:


"Today's Maintenance times have changed. The new time for maintenance on Thursday 26 will be:

TONIGHT: October 26-27, 11pm to 4am PDT (GMT-7)

Oh, and concerning the "UK players being unable to play" problem, if you look, I think MS took the Gurdian's License away from the Marketplace. They did that to stop 'Porters from playing the game until it releases there.

Then you're affected by the same thing myself and many others are - some ISPs can't talk to the DNS servers being used by Sega. Despite it being a VERY easy thing to fix, and despite it being mentioned by a lot of beta players, it seems they've done nothing at all about it...

I'd just checked another thread - someone in the states having the problem still. Why the hell isn't it fixed? I do this sort of thing for a living, it's absolutely BASIC stuff. If you can't get DNS right you pretty much have no business running an online service of any kind.

Yeah - scum that they are. To me, if a game is released region free, then they don't mind people importing. At the same time, they must have told Microsoft they /do/ mind, for the license to have been pulled.
