No ammo...no joy. Same problem with Force class, and I'm not one to sit around for 15 minutes while it recharges, especially on weapons with larger stocks.
And for whatever reason, photon rechargers don't seem to be availible in the item stores.

multiple weapons? I have all six of my weapons slots full and I never run completely out of ammo.

The block warps use them. go back to city/lobby and recharge at photon cube.
if you run out of pp, change weapon with palette.
I usually use my handguns most of the time cuse they recharge fast. and keep my riffle for big monsters or bosses or those flying monsters >_>;

I have two mechs paired with a knife, and two twin hadnguns, as well as two rifles. I rarely run out of PP entirely, nad with my lvl 10 daggar skill, I can still dish it out while on of my mechs recharges. the recharge cubes in the field are helpful as well.
Since when could you ont buy charges in the store, even single item store I have seen will sell pp charges, at a pricey 500 meseta but its stil there.

Always bring more weapons to battle! That way you don't run out of ammo.

I just started a ranger and i have to say...carrying more than 3 weapons around, even if they are the some weapon, can dramaticly increase your lasting ammo in battles. I usually carry around my twin pistols and rifle around with another set of pistols. Usually by the time i run out the instance is over.

Agreed, combat became mush easier once i crafted my second Blaster rifle. Thinking about making a third

I carry two rifles and a blade with handgun but I am still in start areas and that is enough to get thru it.

I have three rifles and two hand guns (both paired with a blade) and basically I never run out, especially in the longer missions that provide u with cubes to refill on during the mission...I also use my blade for the easier mobs

The only time the ammo is really a problem for me is when I am playing the B class missions where the enemies are 10+ levels ahead of myself. I can go through my entire supply of PP for my Twin Pistols in a single block.

I'm Tired of Reading Post about the Rangers ammo. Listen Rangers are for the expert gamers not NOOBs this is not PSO spammin one weapon all day not worrying about missin because u have infinite bullets. Now U have to be more precise and start aiming or Learn how to Synthesize ur weapon risky but rewarding when accomplished. If U want to Spam Hunter is the Character u need to go with

U just have to understand that u have to be more skilled with the ranger now, its not PSO where u spam one Gun the whole mission not worrying about missing a shot because u have infinite bullets. Now U have to be more precise and start aiming or start learning how to Synthesize Ur weapons and start lvling ur elemental bullets so they will take more damage and get ur lvl up. I never worry about reloading I always Synthesize my weapons risky but rewarding when accomplished or put at least one Melee weapon in there so when the ammo does run out u wont be useless or u can also use the gun and sword combo very reliable. Personally I love the ammo strategy rangers are more geared toward the expert gamers not the NOOOBs so if U want to Spam Hunter is Ur choice 8)

I usually use three rifles, two twin handguns, and a lance. When soloing some of the missions, where you find those big guys with a tad bit more defence than your gun ammo would like, the lance's photon art really comes in handy. Also remember you aren't limited to six weapons. Keep extra in your inventory just in case.

I couldn't of said it better myself... Being a ranger requires dedication and skill, and ammo is a factor you have to work with in this class.
(And same goes for force) :P
vid is right. judging by your problem im guessing you are new. first of all a mele wepon is a MUST, i like daggers but thats just me. i keep one of each wepon on my pallet and have NEVER run out of PP on all of my guns and im ready for any situation. the specail bullets are helpful but not vital. if you are just a terrible ranger might I suggest bringing 15 guns or trying a hunter or force?

I don't find a Melee weapon all that necessary. I find that for myself carrying a couple of Rifles is all you need. I currently carry a Blaster a Shooter and now a Vullseye. I will be getting rid of blaster once I can make myself another Vullseye and Upgrade it 3 or 4 times. I must admit that recharge can be high but usually if you are soloing I make more money then I spend on Recharges. I also never buy Heal items from stores. I usually save the ones I get through a Mission and use them if I need to and then when the mission is done sell all the ones I have in inventory.

By that time you could have 9 or 10 shotgun shots pumped and ready for action, lol

not sure what level you are but im at level 11 and find them very useful, if an enemy has higher defence than my guns can hit through or im completely out of ammo, also they do more damage
I messed up the quote, it was missionary that said that if you didnt figure that out
on another note as someone else poseted they said it was impossible to kill something with a saber on a ranger which i have also proved untrue
