Special Edition Gamecubes

Hey did you guys know that they have like 7 different gamecube colors out there? Ok in America we got purple and black, then platinum came but we never got orange that was availble in japan since launch. They also got the panasonic gameCube that plays DVDs, a limited edition japanese baseball team gamecube that's white with black stripes on it ala NY Yankees with the team logo on the circle on top, it looks awesome. Also just recently they release a special edition Metal Gear: Twin Snakes Gamecube that's basicaly just a black GameCube (or maybe platinum) with a Metal Gear type logo on top. I think it sucks that we don't get awesome stuff like that over here. Only like rich stank people can afford the 300+ to import the japanese sytems and get them chipped dang.

I personally would have bought an orange gamecube because unlike those guys who are afraid to touch anything that isn't black, blue, silver, red, or green, I don't care what people think. They do have the orange controllers over here though so I got one of those.

In Japan they also have a pink gamecube, A Donkey Konga gamecube that is yellow with a picture of donkey kong on it. They had a FF:CC special edition one. In select areas in Europe they also have teal GCs.

I believe your thinking of GBA's and if you really have seen gamecubes like that I want a picture because a sky blue one would look great. What I want Nintendo to do is release 6 new colors like they did with the N64 and have them sort of see through ish

lol, the funny thing is that he probably thinks he isnt the 400th person to insert the word gay in gamecube.... Maybe if you were in these boards like 4 minutes after gamecube launched.. oh wait i got a good one..... gaystation 2? or how about xblock? maybe i should run out to the patent office and copyright those before some other genious brainstormer comes up with them...

They may not be out yet but I am thinking of GC. And from what I saw in images they looked awsome.

I just found out that they also have a limited edition Gundam GameCube it looks so awesome its red and comes with a GB Player thats also red! You can see the pictures at ncsx.com, go to shop click on gamecube hardware and browse. They also have a pale green Tales of Symphonia edition GameCube but no picture. Uhh...

I never really found the novelty of having a special edition...well, shell.
Cause that's all they are...Shells...

Instead of selling systems of different colors, nintendo should just sell the shells of limited edition consoles, so gamers could just customize their gamecubes rahter then having to buy a new console all toghter...
But then again, if you shop at the right places*cough*chinatown*cough* those things are usually sold anyway.

Naw, the thing about limited edition stuff is that you know you have one of like 5000 made it kinda makes you feel all special inside.

They had all kinds of Dreamcasts back in the day (2 years ago). OK, they had a Hello Kitty Dreamcast, a pink Sakura Taisen Dreamcast and a black Sega Sports Dreamcast. I think they had others but i cant remember right now.

gold
clear
pearl-coat (color morphs as you view from different angles)
wood veneer (not painted like wood)
red
fluorescent (glow in black light)
glow-in-the-dark
