I would like to use my microphone, but I don't know how. I heard you have to be in a party. Then what? Just talk? I tried and never got responses. Please help /noob

The voice chat is incredibly buggy currently. It was probably you trying to talk, and no one else able to hear you.

a friend and myself had issues with it too, then we deleted the beta off our xboxs and now it wokrs fine.

Yes, when you talk in your mic, your name will light up orange.
There is no button to hold.. it's voice activated..

Currently there is some peoples with the mic.. as in you can go some tme with hearing people and chatting then times when you can not hear anyone.

Yes, but your name won't high-light until you've actually joined a group.
