As i've been playing PSU for the past few days since BETA, and since I got my copy a few days ago. I've come across a few things I thought i'd write about to see if anyone has ideas to expand off of to enhance the game more, maybe figure out the best ways to accomplish a few things. I've hit LV3 Hunter and I'm LV17 Hume, at the moment, so thats about the extent of my charactor base. A few habits i've got into that seem to workout for me, are when i get items such as Ions, Berrys, Acids, and even some of the 6-7 Star Kubara Wood and Uptelines. I throw all of that into storage immediatly, I don't even give myself a chance to sell it. I've also put 14 blueprint boards into my Partner Machine out of the 32 max, and I've realized there isn't a way to remove them without using them up, so take car to what you put in there. However this mistake hasn't cost me too much, as I don't have any duplicate boards in my Machine, so I'm pretty much on the level as far as that goes.

For the rest of this, I usually go to Linear Line or Parum to find monsters within a 1-3 level range of myself, these are the ones I can comfortably kill for EXP and Items without having to worry too much about dying all that quickly. The key when you make a solo outing is to decide one of two main things, do you want Items & EXP, or do you want Rank Points? When going for Items and EXP I usually go in to a dungeon, for example with LV20 monsters since i'm LV17. I go in, since i'm not too fond of using Dimates and/or Monomates when i'm trying to make money, I don't mind the occasional death. I'll use what I find but thats where it ends on item usage. I'll usually make it through 90% if not all of the first part of the mission barely, which is good. I run back to my room toss the items in, synth what I need, give what I don't to the machine to eat, noting what stats it riases by so I can get my machine up there CORRECTLY and not retarded. So far it's helped me get my PM to LV12, and it keeps me steady on my Monomates and Dimates, even Trimates when I find Sweet Berrys.

Well, as far as making money goes, continuing from what I said earlier. As long as you can keep yourself steady on Meds, you can SAVE THE ITEMS YOU GET AND START MAKING SOME L00T. Woo, now that you've begun to make money you can buy yourself a decent weapon first, for me Seva Sata. I reccomend buying a weapon you enjoy using then maxing that Photon Art. Having a weapon maxed will lead you to making money faster because you'll be able to kill things faster. I also maxed 2 to 3 Photon Arts by purchasing 3-4 of the low-end sabers to spam Rising Strike, it works while farming items & exp, because you can die, go back, repeat. Once you have a decent level on your Rising Strike 11+, around LV14-15 I would reccomend saving for a new armor piece, preferably one that restores HP or has high evasion. While defense does a lot to help you out, i have found evasion works rather well against monsters near your level. Now that you've got your armor and your sword you might be a bit broke, don't worry it gets better. Now that you have higher armor and a good weapon, you can take on enemies solo still if you'd like or in a group. While you'll level quicker in a group I reccomend solo for more items to make more money. From here on out its your own decision on how to work your funds, personally ive been saving up to buy some better items for armor slots, and maybe some new clothes.

I hope this helps anyone who's having a little bit of trouble getting started or I hope it just gives people a discussion point on how to start out, any thoughts would be appreicated thanks a lot!
